Helios Triple Sun Slot Review
Helios drove the sun across the sky once a day, every day, on a route that never varied. Helios Triple Sun hands him three of them, in red, yellow and blue, and lets them fire in any combination. It’s a 6×5 Scatter Pays grid rated medium volatility, and the RTP reads 96.56% with the Ante Bet’s 30x multiplier running. Drop back to the standard 20x and it’s 95.56%, with a 94.53% configuration below that.
Stakes run from 0.20 to 240 a spin, the maximum win is capped at 5,000x, and the whole thing comes from Pragmatic Play, a studio that could fill a casino lobby with tumble slots on its own. Anyone who’s put hours into Gates of Olympus will read the rhythm here inside a couple of spins: symbols pay anywhere they land, winners clear, and the grid refills until nothing hits.
The other obvious reference point is Sweet Bonanza, which pays on symbol counts rather than lines. What separates this one is a bonus that arrives in pieces, so: do three suns move Pragmatic’s formula on, or just repaint it?
Base Game & Features
The grid runs six reels by five rows for 30 positions, and there are no paylines at all. Eight or more matching symbols anywhere on screen pay out, and the count you finish on sets the value: 8-9, 10-11, or 12 and above.
The crown sits at the top of the paytable, paying double what the purple sun returns for the same symbol count and twenty-five times what the lowest gems manage.
Below it come the purple sun, green urn, blue ring and red heart, with four coloured gems filling out the bottom of the table.

The Tumble Feature
Winning combinations pay and disappear, the symbols above them fall into the gaps, and fresh ones drop in from the top. Tumbling carries on until a drop produces nothing, and there’s no cap on how many times that can happen in a single spin.
Everything from the sequence reaches your balance once the last tumble has played out, so one decent spin can run through several separate drops before it’s finished.
Sun Scatter Multipliers
The red, yellow and blue Sun Scatters each land carrying a random multiplier from a fixed set: 2x, 3x, 5x, 8x, 10x, 12x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x or 100x. That value applies to the total win of a tumble sequence, worked out at the end of the sequence rather than on each individual drop.

Sun Collections and the Free Spins Trigger
Sun Scatters landing in the base game are collected into the three suns above the reels. When a collection happens, the game can randomly trigger Free Spins with one, two or three modifiers attached, matching whichever suns set it off.
Those collections are a graphical representation only. Nothing is filling toward a guaranteed feature and there’s no scatter threshold to count toward, so the display tells you nothing about how close the bonus actually is.
Helios Triple Sun Free Spins
The round opens with eight free spins, and which modifiers are running depends entirely on which suns triggered it. Up to three can be active at the same time, and special reels are in play for the duration.
The three sun modifiers work like this:
- Red Sun: Multiplier symbols land during the round carrying 2x to 100x. They don’t explode as part of a tumble, and their value applies to the total win of each sequence.
- Yellow Sun: an extra row of symbols appears at the top of reels 2 to 5, widening the grid for the rest of the feature.
- Blue Sun: a Total Multiplier climbs by 1x with every tumble and stays in place until the round ends, applying to the combined win of all sequences from the same free spin.

Retriggers
Sun Scatters can still land during Free Spins and be collected in the suns above the reels. Each collection awards three additional free spins and can switch on any modifier tied to that sun which isn’t already running, for the remainder of the feature.
Super Free Spins
All three modifiers active at once is the version the game calls Super Free Spins: the wider grid, Multiplier symbols and a climbing Total Multiplier all feeding the same tumble sequences. You can reach it through a retrigger, or buy it outright.

Bonus Buy and Ante Bet
Free Spins can be triggered instantly from the base game, and the Ante Bet shifts the odds of getting there without paying for the round.
- Regular Free Spins buy: 80x your total bet, with one, two or three modifiers active at random
- Super Free Spins buy: 200x your total bet, all three modifiers guaranteed from the first spin
- Ante Bet at a 30x bet multiplier: a higher chance of triggering Free Spins naturally
- Standard play at a 20x bet multiplier: normal trigger odds

Our Honest Verdict
The base game holds up better than the trigger design suggests it might. Tumbles keep one winning spin running through several separate drops, the coloured Scatters can turn up with a multiplier attached, and it never felt as punishing as Pragmatic’s high-volatility work.
Free Spins are where it earns the name. Blue mattered more than expected, its Total Multiplier climbing with every tumble until early ordinary sequences were quietly improving later ones. Red supplied the sudden jumps. Yellow, on its own, is an extra row and not much of an event. The retrigger that switched on the modifier we’d been missing was the best moment of the session.
That leaves the two buys. Super at 200x shows the game at full strength, though the 80x round is arguably the more satisfying one precisely because there’s still something left to unlock.
Pragmatic tumble regulars who want the studio’s rhythm without the bruises will get on with this; anyone shopping for a big number will find 5,000x restrained. Helios doesn’t change the route, but three suns make for a brighter ride than one.
Overall Rating: 7.3/10
