We love testing and writing slot reviews. We love the new concepts, the new themes, the new mechanics, and the unreal potential that some slots have. But we’re thinking its about time that we gave up the grind, put on a mask and rinsed the world-renowned jewellery store for all its worth instead.
Who within the Fruity Slots criminal enterprise do you think would be in charge of driving the getaway vehicle? And who do you think would be in charge of crowd control, or safecracking? Now that we think about it, the logistics of the whole thing seem rather problematic considering our lack of experience, and we’d almost definitely end up in jail, but do you have what it takes?

High Street Heist from Quickspin will have you joining a gang of criminals in the heist of a lifetime, where you could be made for life, or put away for life. Sophisticated suits and creepy masks are a must-have, but don’t forget your weapon, because you’re gonna need it.
Quickspin generally aren’t a provider who puts on a disappointing show, so we’re very much looking forward to being witnesses to the criminal gang’s latest sting.
High Street Heist Theme
High Street Heist is pretty much what you’d expect from a game about a heist.
In the background, you’ll see an expensive and sophisticated store filled with glistening diamonds, but the shop is empty, and the glass strewn across the floor tells us that those good-for-nothing reprobates have arrived to take their loot.
In Free Spins, the forced entry is all but confirmed by motion detecting lasers that seemingly covers every corner of the store, but its childs play for our gang of experienced criminals.
High Street Heist has a great aesthetic to it, but that’s something that we’ve come to expect from Quickspin titles.
Betting and Symbols
Betting options in High Stree Heist are as broad as they always are, with options that start from £/€0.20 per spin and top out at £/100 per spin. There are lots of different options in between the two, so there should be an ideal setting for all here.
In terms of symbols, the highest paying symbol in the game is the Diamond Symbol, followed by the Red, Orange, Green and Purple Robber symbols. Low-paying symbols are the Gold rings with the red and green diamonds, and the plain gold, silver and bronze rings.
There’s also a Wild Symbol, which substitutes for all symbols.
Base Game and Features
High Street Heist is a 5-reel slot with 32+ ways to win.
To form a win, you’ll need matching symbols to connect from left to right on adjacent reels, starting from the left-most reel. In the middle 2 rows, you’ll notice symbols hidden behind panes of glass.
Once the glass is broken, the ways to win increase along with the potential to land larger wins.
Breaking the Glass
Symbols are stacked in High Street Heist, and landing stacked symbols in view is the key to breaking the glass.
One or more full stacks of any of the same symbol unlock all positions on its respective reel and award a re-spin. Re-spins continue as long as stacked symbols continue to land and clear glass panes.
Free Spins
Heist Free Spins are triggered by breaking all of the glass spaces on the middle 2 rows.
Heist Free Spins starts with all positions unlocked and 1024 ways to win. The aim of the game in Heist Free Spins is once again landing stacks, but instead of breaking glass, it fills the Heist Meter.
The meter takes 4 charges to fill completely, and when it does, it will convert the lowest valued robber symbol into a Diamond symbol, and award +2 Free Spins.
When all Robber Symbols are converted, then filling the heist meter will award a +1x multiplier on all diamond symbols and award +2 Free Spins.

Our Verdict
We love Quickspin titles as much as the next person does, but High Street Heist just doesn’t excite us like Cabin Crashers, Cash Truck, Book of Duat or any other recent title.
We still think it’s a good slot, but it’s rather simple overall, and it feels like you need a fair bit of momentum in order to get something good from the bonus round. Slots like Cabin Crashers can kick off at any given moment, but High Street Heist requires a fair amount of collecting before things really get exciting.
The Base Game seems a little bit dull, too. 34 ways to win is the default setting, and it’ll grow as you unlock panes until it reaches 1024 ways to win and the bonus round, but 1024 ways isn’t exactly ‘massive’. In fact, it’s the default for many other titles without the need to unlock extra spaces.
We tested High Street Heist, and we bought our fair share of bonuses to see what it could do, but often it yielded rather disappointing results. That’s just how it goes in slots sometimes, though. At its best, High Street Heist is capable of some formidable wins with a 21,160x maximum capability, but we’re a bit sceptical about how realistic this is. Nothing about the gameplay we’ve seen really suggests that it could get anywhere near such a figure.
Overall, we think High Street Heist might scratch an itch if you’re jonesing for a Quickspin fix, but we think you’ll quickly realise that there are many more alluring titles elsewhere.
