The retrigger meter is the best thing here. Every fill pays out spins and thickens the multiplier stack at the same time, so a round that runs turns into a different, meaner game. The cost is the front half: 10 paylines and a 200x top symbol make the base game thin, and the jump from a 100x MONEY value to 2500x leaves nothing in between for a good-but-not-great round to land on.
