The 8 paytable symbols are split into 2 categories: high-paying & low-paying. Each high-paying symbol represents a variety of drinks & slushies, while low-paying symbols reveal strawberries, blueberries, kiwis, and oranges.
Upon a win evaluation, a fixed payout between 0.15x and 40x your bet is applied to the winning pay line. Furthermore, Wild symbols persist on all reels, substituting for all symbols except Scatters and Mints.
Mint Symbols
Throughout gameplay, 3 Cup Multipliers sit directly below reels 2, 3, and 4. With each new spin, a random Multiplier between x2 and x25 is applied to each Cup Multiplier, only triggering when a Mint symbol lands on its respective reel.
Once this happens, the Mint symbol will drop into the respective Cup Multiplier, causing new paytable symbols to appear on the triggering reel. Alternatively, Cup Multipliers can randomly award a fully expanded reel of Wild symbols to their respective reels.
If this happens, the Cup Multiplier is applied to all wins each expanded Wild symbol is a part of. If more than 1 Cup Multiplier is active, they are added together and applied.

Our Honest Verdict
Ice Mints is a sweet and refreshing release from Pragmatic Play, which adopts simple mechanics, a quirky theme, and high-quality graphics. Unfortunately, like chewing gum that’s lost its taste, the game’s limited features soon wear off.
The feature we’re particularly referring to is the individual Cup Multipliers available below reels 2, 3, and 4. At first, you’re fixed on the interchangeable values each spin generates, but without a Mint symbol in view, the majority of spins can soon become pretty stale.
The concept of this feature is good, especially when multiple Cup Multipliers trigger simultaneously, but excitement quickly turns to frustration and disappointment when the big Multipliers skip past you.
However, we were fairly pleased with the outcome of Free Spins and the upgrades given to Cup Multipliers. Instead of flicking through Multipliers, each Cup is assigned a x0 starting value, which climbs by +x1 for each Mint symbol on its respective reel.

We can’t quite put our finger on it, but Ice Mints has a certain aura that makes even the most experienced players want to give it a go. It’s not Pragmatic Play’s most compelling release, and it lacks longevity, but it can also charm the pants off you.
