Collect Wins

Special Lemon symbols can land on any reel during a game round, revealing a cash value between 0.2x and 50x your bet. Lemon symbol values can only be awarded when a Collect symbol lands on reel 5. This awards the total combined value of all Lemon symbols in view.

Lemon Booster

The Lemon Booster sat above the main reel set begins with a Multiplier value of x1. Each time a 1Up symbol hits, it will increase the Multiplier value by +x1, up to a maximum of x10.

After the current Multiplier value has been applied to Lemon symbols, it resets to x1 in the base game. However, during Free Spins, the Lemon Booster does not reset.

Bonus

A special Bonus round can be randomly triggered when Lemon symbols land on reels 1, 2, 3, and 4. Once active, the round begins with 3 Respins and an empty grid. When a Lemon or Prize symbol lands on the grid, it resets the Respins to 3.

If Lemon and Prize symbols fill the entire grid, the Mega Prize is awarded. The Bonus ends when all positions are filled, or the Respins counter reaches 0.

Jackpot Prizes

During the Bonus round, there are 4 types of Jackpot Prizes available: Mini (30x bet), Minor (100x bet), Major (500x bet), and Mega (5,000x bet).

When a Prize symbol hits, they are collected into a special meter referring to each prize level. All collected symbols are removed from the grid. Symbols that triggered a win remain on the grid until the Bonus ends. When 3 of the same Prizes are collected, their respective Prize value is awarded.

Feature Buy

Head over to the Feature Buy shop and purchase 10 Free Spins for an additional 50x your bet, where applicable.

Conclusion

Snowborn Games combines classic aesthetics with modernised features and mechanics in Lucky Lemons, but did it continue to impress during testing?

Lucky Lemons is not considered part of the ‘Pile ‘Em Up’ series, yet it has striking similarities that make it feel like it’s part of the gang. After playing Pile ‘Em Up and Fish ‘Em Up, we’re well-versed in all things Boosters and 1Up symbols, so the transition to Lucky Lemons has been a breeze.

Building up the Lemon Booster is the main goal in the base game, which boosts the Multiplier to a max of x10. The higher the Multiplier, the bigger your Lemon wins, but triggering it too early will create smaller wins, enabling the booster to reset. However, during Free Spins, the Lemon Booster does not reset.

Although Lemon symbols require a Collect symbol to extract their values, they’re not entirely useless on their own. Lemon symbols also trigger the Bonus Game, a special respins round with nothing but Lemon and Jackpot symbols in play. Filling the entire grid during this time will award the Mega Jackpot of 5,000x your bet!
