Majestic Fury Megaways Unleashed carries on in the footsteps of the last Majestic Fury Megaways, but what does the ‘unleashed’ part actually mean?
Unleashed would insinuate that this version is not just unleashed, but untamed, unhinged, and unbelievable in comparison. At first glance, it looks extremely similar, if not indistinguishable from its predecessor.
We can understand reusing some assets, but even the background is exactly the same. Tut tut, Blueprint.
Laziness (of efficiency if you prefer) aside, we’re sure Blueprint Gaming has done much to make it stand out from its younger brother in a meaningful way.
This one is doubly capable with 10,000x the win potential instead of 5,000x, medium volatility and RTP ranges between 95 – 92%.
Base Game & Features
Majestic Fury Megaways Unleashed is set across 6 reels and offers up to 15,625 ways to win, a far cry from the Megaways norm of 117,649 ways. Wins are formed by landing 2 to 6 matching symbols on consecutive reels, starting from the leftmost reel.
The Lion symbol is the most valuable in the game, paying between 0.5x and 5x your stake, depending on how many land. Other symbols include classic slot icons like 7s, bells, lemons, and cherries, as well as lower-paying A to 9 card values, with payouts ranging from 0.4x to 2.5x.
Wild symbols can appear on reels 2 through 6 and will substitute for all standard pay symbols, but not Scatters, Cash Collect, or Cash Prize symbols.
Cash Collect Feature
The Cash Collect feature is active from the moment you start playing, beginning at the lowest level of the trail above the reels.
Throughout the base game, Cash Prize symbols can land on any reel and will display a value. However, these values only become achievable when a Collect symbol lands on reel 1 or reel 6, or both.
If a Collect symbol lands, it expands to cover the full height of its reel and gathers the total value of all visible Cash Prizes on the screen.
Trail Unlocks
Each time a Cash Collect triggers, it progresses the Trail above the reels. As the trail advances, it unlocks additional features that remain active for good, regardless of stake.
At the beginning, only the standard Collect symbol is available. As more Collects are triggered, new symbol types and mechanics become accessible:
- Streak Collect – Unlocks after 2 Collects. Triggers a respin feature where all visible Cash Prizes are held, and new prizes can land and lock into place. The round ends when no new symbols land, and all values are awarded.
- Stepper Collect – Unlocks after 5 Collects. Moves Cash Prizes up or down to potentially reveal more rewards.
- Blast Collect – Unlocks after 8 Collects. Gathers all current prizes before dropping in new symbols
- Super Diamond – Unlocks after 12 Collects. Triggers a special wheel that awards either a Cashpot or a Mystery Prize.
- Coin Blitz Pot – Unlocks after 16 Collects. Grants access to a separate Pick Feature
- Makestic Fury Unleashed Spins – Unlocks after 20 Collects, enabling the bonus mode
Coin Blitz
Once unlocked through the Trail, the Coin Blitz feature becomes active. From that point, any Cash Prizes that land are automatically stored in a prize pot.
When the pot is triggered, it activates a Pick Feature, where one of several possible rewards can be revealed:
- Bonus Boost – Adds extra Scatter symbols to the reels.
- Win Spin – Guarantees a win by adding high-value Lion symbols and Wilds.
- Fire ‘Em Up – Highlights reels for a chance to reveal Cash Prizes, with at least one Collect symbol guaranteed on reel 1 or 6.
- Super Collect – Collects all visible Cash Prizes, awarding any Super Diamond symbols first.
- Fury Strike – Places a Collect symbol on reel 1, reel 6, or both, ensuring a Cash Collect win.
- Super Diamond – Activates the Super Diamond Wheel, awarding either a Cashpot or a Mystery Prize.
- Extra Spins – Adds up to 5 additional Free Spins to the Bonus Game.
Majestic Fury Megaways Unleashed Free Spins
The standard Free Spins round is triggered by landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 Scatter symbols in the base game. This awards 10 Free Spins, along with a payout of 20x to 500x your stake, depending on how many Scatters landed.
- 3 Scatters – 10 Free Spins
- 4 Scatters – 10 Free Spins + 20x Base Stake Win
- 5 Scatters – 10 Free Spins + 100x Base Stake Win
- 6 Scatters – 10 Free Spins + 500x Base Stake Win
During the bonus, any Collect symbols you’ve unlocked from the Trail stay active. When one lands, it’s added to a Meter above the reels. Hitting certain thresholds on the meter awards retriggers and bigger multipliers:
- Accumulating any 3 cash collect symbols will award 5 additional spins along with a x2 multiplier for any collected values
- Accumulating any 6 cash collect symbols will award 5 additional spins along with a x3 multiplier for any collected values
- Accumulating any 9 cash collect symbols will award 5 additional spins along with a x5 multiplier for any collected values
- Accumulating any 12 cash collect symbols will award 5 additional spins along with a x10 multiplier for any collected values
Majestic Fury Unleashed
Once activated, landing 3 or more scatter symbols in view will trigger the Majestic Fury Unleashed bonus, awarding 10 free spins.
Before the bonus begins, players can select up to 5 golden lions, each revealing a potential enhancement.
- Coin boost – Increases the value of the lowest cash prize symbol on the reels by x1, x2, x3, x4, or x5 (can appear up to 5 times)
- + Extra spins – Awards up to 5 additional free spins
- Cash attack – Removes all standard symbols from the reels, leaving only cash prize and collect symbols
- + Coin – Adds more cash prize symbols to the reels
- Trail boost – Upgrades trail multipliers to x3, x4, x6, and x15
- + Collect – Introduces extra collect symbols onto the reels
- + Diamond – Adds more super diamond symbols
- Start Majestic Fury Unleashed – Begins the bonus round
During any spin, if a collect symbol lands, it will award the value of every cash prize symbol currently in view.
This mode uses the same rule for accumulating Cash Symbols for additional spins and multipliers, like in the normal round.
Our Honest Verdict
Has anyone told Blueprint that they need not pay BTG for the Megaways licence and that they can make a variable ways slot? No?
It’s not a Megaways slot, not really. Symbols don’t cascade, there’s no top tracker, and the ways to win are capped at 15,625 ways to win. We’re firm believers that Blueprint, though not the creators of the Megaways mechanic, are behind some of the best of the bunch.
Genie Jackpot Megaways, Safari Gold Megaways, Kong Megaways, Primal Megaways, Temple Tumble Megaways, Buffalo (now Bison) Rising Megaways, Wolf Legend.
The list goes on. Of course, these were released at the height of Megaways popularity, and Blueprint might be trying to capitalise on it once again, but the problem remains, it’s not really a Megaways slot, and dare we say, the stamp doesn’t carry as much weight as it once did. That’s not to take away from how Megaways changed the game, but some have moved on.
Majestic Fury Unleased Megaways is trying to be a number of things; it’s similar to King Kong Cash Even Bigger Bananas 4, which releases alongside it, but not quite as notable. It’s a “Megaway” (allegedly), a Big Bass Bonanza style bonus game, and a jackpot slot.
It’s notably different from its predecessor, Majestic Fury Megaways and rightly better. It has a fair number of features and packs a decent punch with a 10,000x win cap, but it may feel forgettable compared to the like-minded Kong, or the Goonies Megaways Quest for Treasure, though that also tried to ride the coattails of the Megaways mechanic.
Overall, Majestic Fury Megaways Unleashed isn’t a completely forgettable title but it’s not particularly memorable, at least compared to Blueprint’s other offerings.
