Master Gems Slot Review
Venture into the dark and dangerous territory of Master Gems, courtesy of Pragmatic Play partner, Fat Panda!
Prepare to explore the abandoned mines, where shiny gems worth up to 5,000x your bet are waiting to be unearthed. Fat Panda is relatively new to the industry, with only a small portfolio of games under its belt.
Teaming up with Pragmatic Play gets this provider off to the right start, delivering slots that are far from traditional. Fat Panda (like PGSoft) presents each release with a mobile-friendly format, which enhances the overall experience for mobile players.
With a fixed RTP of 96.46% and a medium volatility rating, can we discover the 5,000x your bet in max win potential hidden within the reels of Master Gems? Let’s play on and find out.

Base Game & Features
Master Gems is a medium volatility video slot with 5 reels, 1 row, and 1 fixed pay line. Winning combinations are established when 3, 4, or 5 identical symbols are visible on the reels, so long as they are adjacent to each other.
Sticking to the Mining theme, all 7 paytable symbols represent Coloured Gems, awarding fixed payouts between 1x and 100x your bet, where applicable. Furthermore, Wild symbols appear on reel 3 and substitute for all paytable symbols.

Minecart Feature
Each time a Wild symbol is part of a winning combination, it will instantly trigger the Minecart Feature. Please note that the appearance of the cart is purely for entertainment purposes only.
Once active, the Minecart above the reels will spin to reveal a random Multiplier between x2 and x100, which is applied to the current winning combination.

Our Honest Verdict
Like Plushie Wins before this, Master Gems is another relatively short game to review in terms of content. Still considered a ‘new provider’, Fat Panda sways from the traditional slots we’re accustomed to and adds a new touch to the iGaming industry.
After reviewing Emotiwins, we were surprised to see another provider, besides PGSoft, explore the mobile-friendly format. We understand the immense appeal of higher-quality graphics on mobile devices, but it doesn’t have the same effect on desktops.
Master Gems explores the deep, dark corners of the mining theme, which has become a focus point in many games, including Mine Defender and Diamond Miner DuoMax. Depending on preference, you may feel the Mining theme has had its day, whereas others may still find joy in a good ol’ excavation extravaganza.
Unfortunately, in this case, there is little joy to be had throughout gameplay, which is limited to a single Minecart Feature. What is surprising is that this game can deliver 5,000x your bet in max win potential.
It just proves that the number of features, reels, pay lines or ways to win are not the ‘be all and end all’ to any video slot. All in all, Master Gems is not the most attractive slot in Fat Panda’s portfolio, nor does it cater to experienced players, but it may appeal to new players at the start of their iGaming journey.
