Money Stacks Dice Slot Review
Neon rings circle a board of fruit and tumbling dice, cash values drifting across the reels beneath them. Strip the dice off Money Stacks Dice and you’d struggle to tell it from the game it came from; the rework changes the costume, not the maths, and the real question is whether that matters when the bonus choice underneath is this good.
It runs on a 6×4 grid with 4,096 ways to win, high volatility, and a 5,000x bet ceiling that matches the original Money Stacks. The RTP sits at 96.51% to 96.55% depending on configuration, with stakes from 0.20 to 240 per spin.
The guaranteed Collect on every Money Spins spin is the feature this format was built around. It carried the original Money Stacks, and it carries over unchanged here.
Base Game & Features
All symbols pay left to right on adjacent reels from the leftmost, with wins formed across 4,096 fixed ways. It’s a big board for a fruit-and-dice game, and six-of-a-kind hits across it are where the decent base pays live.
The wild appears on reels 2 through 6 and substitutes for everything except the Scatter, Money and Collect symbols. The Joker scatter can land on any reel and pays on its own.
Here’s what each symbol pays, as multiples of the total bet:
- 7 – 1x for three, 1.5x for four, 2.5x for five, 5x for six
- Watermelon / Grapes – 0.5x for three, 1.5x for four, 2x for five, 2.5x for six
- Cherries – 0.2x for two, 0.8x for three, 1.2x for four, 1.5x for five, 2x for six
- Lemon / Pear – 0.2x for three, 0.8x for four, 1.5x for five, 2x for six
- Dice (variant 1) – 0.5x for three, 1x for four, 1.2x for five, 1.5x for six
- Dice (variant 2) – 0.4x for three, 1x for four, 1.2x for five, 1.5x for six
- Dice (variants 3 and 4) – 0.4x for three, 0.8x for four, 1x for five, 1.2x for six
- Dice (variants 5 and 6) – 0.3x for three, 0.5x for four, 0.8x for five, 1x for six
- Joker scatter – 0.5x for three, 1x for four, 1.5x for five, 2.5x for six
Money Collect Feature
Money symbols land carrying random values, from small change up the ladder: 0.5x to 20x the base bet across the standard range, plus the jackpot tiers of 25x MINOR, 250x MAJOR and 2,500x GRAND.
The Collect symbol only appears on reels 1 and 6. When it lands together with Money symbols on the same spin, every Money value on screen is paid out, once per Collect instance. Two Collects in one spin means the whole board pays twice, which is where the base game’s biggest moments come from.
Ante Bet
Two bet multipliers are on offer. The 20x multiplier is normal play; the 40x multiplier triples the chance of triggering free spins naturally by adding more scatters to the reels, and disables the buy menu while it’s active. The RTP under the Ante Bet is min 96.51%, max 96.59%.
Money Stacks Dice Free Spins & Money Spins
3, 4, 5 or 6 scatters anywhere on screen trigger the feature, paying 1x, 2x, 3x or 5x the base bet on the way in. Before the round starts, there’s a choice to make: Free Spins with Random Wild Multipliers, or Money Spins. It’s the same fork the Money Stacks family has always offered, and it splits the game in two directions.
Free Spins with Random Wild Multipliers
Depending on the trigger, the round awards:
- 3 scatters – 8 free spins
- 4 scatters – 12 free spins
- 5 scatters – 20 free spins
- 6 scatters – 30 free spins
Every wild in the round carries a random multiplier of x2, x3 or x5, and it multiplies the number of symbols it substitutes for, opening up extra ways to win on a 4,096-way board. 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 scatters during the round retrigger it for 5, 8, 12, 20 or 30 extra spins respectively.
Money Collect is switched off for the whole round, and special reels are in play throughout. It’s pure ways-and-multipliers play, with none of the cash collecting that defines the rest of the game.
Money Spins
The other fork strips the reels back to Money, Collect and blank symbols only, and awards 2, 3, 5 or 7 spins for 3, 4, 5 or 6 triggering scatters. At least one Collect symbol is guaranteed on every spin, so no spin of the round can end empty. There’s no retrigger; what you get at the start is what you play.
Buy Feature
The free spins round can be bought outright from the base game, with the guaranteed scatter count setting the price:
- 80x base bet – at least 3 scatters guaranteed (RTP min 96.50%, max 96.59%)
- 120x base bet – at least 4 scatters guaranteed (RTP min 96.49%, max 96.66%)
- 200x base bet – at least 5 scatters guaranteed (RTP min 96.50%, max 96.53%)
- 240x base bet – 6 scatters guaranteed (RTP min 96.50%, max 96.53%)
Whatever the round reaches, it stops hard at 5,000x the bet: hit the cap and the round ends immediately, the win is paid and any remaining features are forfeited.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.1/10
Most of a session here is watching the neon rings go round while cash values drift in and the reels 1 and 6 decide whether any of it counts. That sounds like a criticism, but it isn’t: the wait only exists because the payoff is a genuine decision, and the decision is the reason to open this game at all.
The strength is Money Spins. A guaranteed Collect on every spin means the round never whiffs, and a collector mode that respects your time is rarer than it should be. The weakness is the ceiling: 5,000x is half what the Megaways follow-up pays, and the top buy asks big-game money for it. The wild-multiplier round is the weaker pick more often than not, since it gives up the collecting entirely.
This suits players who like collect slots and don’t need a five-figure ceiling to stay interested, and the dice dressing is genuinely easy on the eye. Anyone chasing the biggest possible numbers is better served elsewhere in the family. For everyone else, the stacks are still worth counting.
