Pray For Three Slot Review
Scary Mary and Morbid Magda didn’t last very long in Heaven – Saints they were not, and angels they could never remain. Cast out of Heaven for their many sins, these two fallen sisters have embraced the fiery inferno. Death was only the beginning for the pair – They no longer pray for salvation, but to lay claim over the domination of the damned.
Hacksaw Gaming has developed a taste for the afterlife, with Pray For Three being the third release to flicker between the delicate line of life and death. SixSixSix and Life and Death reveal different scenarios on the subject, but they all share one common denominator, and that’s death itself.
Although Pray For Three possesses a dark theme, Hacksaw Gaming has put a humorous spin on it by creating a backstory of two sisters who have been kicked out of Heaven for bad behaviour. The witty nature of this game comes as no surprise for a Hacksaw Gaming title, but all jokes aside, will Pray For Three offer serious gameplay? Let’s play on and find out!

Base Game & Features
Pray For Three is a highly volatile 5-reel, 5-row Video Slot with 3,125 ways to win and varying bet sizes between £.€0.10 and £.€100 per spin. Other attributes include an overall RTP of 96.33% and a sizable max win cap of 13,333x your bet.
Winning combinations consist of 3-5 matching symbols that land from left to right, starting from reel 1. There are 10 High and Low-paying symbols available, each producing payouts between 0.1x and 4x your bet, where applicable. Finally, Wild symbols substitute for all paytable symbols when in view.
During gameplay, each winning combination is removed and replaced with new symbols via an Avalanche Feature. This creates opportunities for additional wins to occur within a single spin. The avalanche feature continues until no more wins occur for that spin. All payouts are accumulated in a special Total Win Bar outside the main reel set.
Wheel of Sin
Above the main reel set, next to the total win bar, is the Wheel of Sin. Once active, each section of the wheel will reveal an Adding or Multiplying value. The three individual sections can reveal the following multiplier values:
- Section 1: Reveals adding values between 2x and 333x your bet
- Section 2: Reveals adding values between 2x and 333x your bet, or multiplying values between x2 and x33
- Section 3: Reveals multiplying values between x2 and x33
Activating the Wheel of Sin requires Prayer Hands or Divine Prayer Hands to land on the reels during a win. When a Prayer Hand hits, it will reveal a number between 1 and 3, which indicates how many sections of the wheel it will activate.
After activation, the Prayer Hand symbol is removed, along with other winning symbols. As new symbols drop in, a new Prayer Hand may appear, where only one prayer hand can land on the reels at the same time. Alternatively, a landed Divine Prayer Hand will always activate all 3 sections of the Wheel of Sin.
If more than one Multiplier is active on the Wheel of Sin, they will combine one by one, from left to right. The resulting value is then applied to the Total Win Bar amount to reveal the final outcome.

Our Honest Verdict
Scary Mary and Morbid Magda must have done some pretty terrible things to bag themselves a one-way ticket to hell. Still, without the terrible twosome, we wouldn’t have found ourselves at the heart of Pray For Three. This instalment builds upon SixSixSix gracefully, and in quite a flattering way. The use of Multiplier Wheels is evident in both releases, yet Pray For Three initiates them in ways similar to Gates of Olympus and Starlight Princess.
Each section of the Wheel of Sin reveals adding or multiplying values that apply to the Total Win Bar of a game round. The wheel remains dormant until a Prayer or Divine Prayer Hand appears on the grid. As straightforward as it seems, the Prayer Hand needs to land whilst a winning combination is present to activate the wheel. Even then, regular Prayer Hands do not guarantee that all 3 sections of the wheel will unlock. However, there is a chance to land Divine Prayer Hands, which guarantee full access to the Wheel of Sin, but they seem to be in short supply.
If you’re a stickler for Free Spins, you may find Pray For Three more Heavenly than Hellish. This is thanks to the 3 exclusive Free Spins modes available. The Wicked Ways, Living On a Prayer, and Flames of Fortune modes utilise similar mechanics from the base game, with a few heavenly upgrades that distinctly separate them from each other. Players outside the UK can indulge in 2 of 3 modes for a fixed price, but all players will have to do some serious base game grinding for the other.
All in all, Play For Three is a noteworthy release, but it’s not groundbreaking. The game has some exciting moments and appealing statistics, but it’s not as promising as its predecessor.
