We’ve become well acquainted with Gaming Corps’ style of content through games like Wet & Wild Beavers and Fishing Pro: Reel Collect, so we’re eager to see what they’ve come up with next. Gaming Corps tends to stray from traditional mechanics and features, focusing on innovation and creativity to give their games that little something extra.
With a fixed RTP of 96.04% and a medium (6/10) volatility score, this game can produce wins of up to 5,000x your bet. From domestic animals to safari wildlife, the renowned animal theme has made an appearance in many slots over the years, including Safari Gold Megaways and Safari Sun, but where will Savannah Stacks fit into the mix? Let’s find out.

Base Game & Features
Savannah Stacks is the latest safari-themed video slot from Gaming Corps, consisting of 5 reels, 3 rows, and 15 fixed pay lines. Winning combinations trigger when 2-5 matching symbols land on adjacent reels, starting from reel 1.
The highest-paying symbol falls to the Lion, followed by the Elephant, Rhino, Gator, Binoculars, Hat, and Satchel. When a winning combination occurs, fixed payouts between 0.3x and 40x your bet are awarded.
This game does not include Wild symbols, but it does reveal Scatters on reels 1, 3, and 5, which are responsible for triggering the Free Spins mode.

Savannah Stacks
During each spin, the Stacks Bar above reel 1 may reveal a random high or low-paying symbol. When this happens, the chosen symbol will appear stacked on the reels during the current spin.
Additionally, the Global Multiplier above the rightmost reel will increment by +x1 for every stacked symbol that hits, up to a maximum of x6. At the start of the next spin, the Global Multiplier resets to x1.

Savannah Stacks Free Spins
The Free Spins mode is guaranteed to trigger when 3 Scatters land on reels 1, 3, and 5 in the base game, awarding 7 Free Spins.
During this mode, the Global Multiplier is persistent between spins, capped at x25. Lastly, further Free Spins can be awarded when 3 Scatters land on reels 1, 3, and 5, awarding +5 Free Spins, up to a maximum of 50 during a single session.
Bonus Guarantee
The Free Spins mode features a specialĀ Bonus Guarantee. If the final spin completes and the total win is less than 10x your bet, the Bonus Guarantee feature is awarded. This means that a further +3 Free Spins are awarded, while the Global Multiplier continues from where it left off.
Our Honest Verdict
Savannah Stacks is a charming and picturesque instalment from Gaming Corps, with top-quality aesthetics and engaging sound effects. The game takes a backseat to complex mechanics as seen in previous instalments, offering a more relaxed vibe through the Savannah Stacks feature and Global Multiplier.
The Savannah Stacks feature enables a random paytable symbol to appear stacked on the reels, but it’s not guaranteed to trigger on every spin. During testing, the Savannah Stacks feature triggered consistently, but it often failed to create a win with the chosen stacked symbol.
With this feature being the only one available throughout gameplay, it’s not the most desirable, nor will it leave a lasting impression. Another disappointing factor is that the Global Multiplier is tied to this feature, so there really is nothing to fall back on when all else fails.
The Scatter symbols are limited to reels 1, 3, and 5 during spins, so it requires a little more precision to trigger the Free Spins mode. Once active, though, more Savannah Stacks are on the cards, only this time, the Global Multiplier remains persistent. That’s all well and good if you’re able to connect the stacked symbols and create wins.
With no Bonus Buy or Ante Bet options available (and the lack of features), the game can quickly become stale. The game looks good statistically, albeit the 5,000x max win potential is nothing to rave about, but it’s suitable for a game of this nature.
All in all, Savannah Stacks has an indulgent theme and stunning visuals, but the available features feel a little too safe for a Gaming Corps release.
