Almost this time 2 years ago, The Wildos first graced our screens, kitted out with an exciting Wild West storyline and many staple features that have become Thunderkick’s speciality over the years.
Thunderkick is renowned for slots influenced by Multiplier Wilds, which has created positive results for many of their games. Base Game & Features
The Wildos 2 is a highly volatile 5-reel Video Slot with 4 rows, 20 active pay lines, and varying bet sizes between £.€0.10 and £.€100 per spin. Other attributes include an overall RTP of 94.19% and a generous max win cap of 10,000x your bet.
Each spin has the potential to create winning sequences when 3 or more matching symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. Each of the 10 symbols consists of characters and card suits, producing payouts between 0.2x and 20x your bet.
Multiplier Wilds
Special Multiplier Wilds appear on reels 2, 3, and 4, substituting for all symbols except Scatters and other Wilds. There are 3 types of Wild symbols available – these include:
- Bronze: x1, x2, x3
- Silver: x5, x6, x8
- Gold: x10, x15, x25
When in view and part of a winning combination, the revealed Multiplier(s) will be applied to the win. If more than one Multiplier Wild is in the same winning combination, the multipliers will be added together and applied to the win.
Bounty Poster Feature
The Bounty Poster Feature triggers when a Wild symbol lands anywhere on reels 2, 3, or 4. Once active, 1 of 3 effects occur per spin – these include:
- Green Wildo Poster: Adds 1-4 Bronze Wilds
- Blue Wildo Poster: Adds 1-5 Silver Wilds
- Red Wildo Poster: Adds 1-5 Gold Wilds
Scatter symbols are unaffected by this feature, and higher-value Wilds can upgrade lower-value ones, but not the other way. At the end of the feature, each Bounty Poster acts as their corresponding High-paying symbol. Please note, that Bounty Posters cannot be covered by additional Wilds.

Free Spins
Landing 3 Scatters anywhere in the base game triggers the Free Spins round, whereby 4 Options are awarded:
- Bronze: Awards 12 Free Spins and Multipliers between x1 and x3
- Silver: Awards 9 Free Spins and Multipliers between x5 and x8
- Gold: Awards 6 Free Spins and Multipliers between x10 and x25
- Random: Awards 6, 9, or 12 Free Spins with a chance at the Super Bonus
Alternatively, if the Super Free Spins round is triggered, this round awards 12 Free Spins and Multipliers between x1 and x25. In this round, all Multiplier Wilds remain sticky on the reels.
In regular Free Spins, all Wild symbol types can appear, but only the selected type becomes sticky on the reels. The Bounty Poster Feature is also available during this time, but these symbols do not land if no upgrades of empty Wild positions are available.
If a higher-value Wild appears on a lower-value Wild, the higher-value Wild will apply to that spin. This reverts back with the next spin unless it is a Super Free Spins round, where upgrades persist throughout the feature.
Additional Free Spins are awarded by filling reels 2, 3, and 4 with Sticky Wilds. Entering with 12, 9, and 6 Free Spins awards an additional +4, +3, and +2 Free Spins respectively.
Our Verdict
The Wilds 2 is a chip off the old block from its predecessor, with many characteristics and similarities persistent from the original. However, Thunderkick has done well to create a sequel with many significant changes, including better statistics and higher-rewarding features.
Like its predecessor, Wildos 2 is an attractive and non-complexing slot that presents Tunderkick’s statement feature: Multiplier Wilds. In the original, each Multiplier Wild had a fixed value of x5, but in this one, individual Bronze, Silver, and Gold Wilds present values between x1 and x25.
Another interesting gameplay element is the Bounty Poster Feature, which is absent from the original. When this feature is active, special Wildo Posters can add a random number of Bronze, Silver, or Gold Wilds to reels 2, 3, and 4. This feature keeps the base game from going stale and creates opportunities for players to cash in on big wins.
In The Wildos 2, players have the chance of triggering the Free Spins round, as well as an enhanced Super Free Spins mode. The difference between the two is quite significant in that all Multiplier Wilds stick throughout the Super Free Spins round, unlike regular Free Spins.
