Firefly Symbols

In the base game, 3 primary Firefly symbols can appear on the reels, in colours Purple, Red, and Green. There is also a special Golden Firefly symbol, which only appears in Free Spins if the Red Firefly modifier is active.

When any of the mentioned Firefly symbols land on the reels, they are collected by the corresponding Toad. Each time this occurs, there is an increased chance of triggering the Free Spins mode with 1, 2, or 3 modifiers active.

Toad Modifiers

  • Purple Modifier: Causes all Firefly symbols to reveal a random Cash Prize between 1x and 10x your bet. This may also reveal 1 or 2 Free Spins or a random Multiplier between x2 and x5.
  • Red Modifier: All Firefly symbols transform into Golden Fireflies, revealing a random Cash Prize or a random letter of a certain colour for each Jackpot Prize. This may also reveal 1 or 2 Free Spins.

Our Verdict

Pragmatic Play has a reputation for creating innovative and entertaining slots, with Tiny Toads ticking both those boxes. Although it doesn’t look like much at first, the game is equipped with a great range of modifiers that link to individual Toads above the reels, keeping players guessing what concoction of modifiers they’re going to receive in Free Spins.

For a slot with a high volatility rating, the overall RTP of 96.51% and max win cap of 4,000x your bet are well within the average range for this type of game. Admittedly, we’re a little disappointed with the 4,000x max win, but this figure is as expected for a Pragmatic Play slot. Overall, Tiny Toads is a light-hearted and subtle slot with highly entertaining characteristics and catchy elements.
