Tippy’s Golden Pot is a 5-reel, 4-row Video Slot with 1,024 ways to win. Winning combinations are formed when 3 or more of the same symbol types connect from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel.

The highest-paying symbol here is the Mushroom, followed by the Acorns, Clovers, and Butterfly. Low-paying symbols are standard Ace, King, Queen, and Jack. Wilds substitute for all other symbols except Scatters.

Tippy Pots

The Tippy Pots feature is available in the base game, triggered randomly by collecting Wilds into the Gold Pot to the left of the reel set. Every coloured Wild that lands increases its respective Tippy Pots Jackpot Prize by 0.5x your bet.

• Minor (Purple) – Starts at 10x your bet, up to a maximum of 100x.
• Major (Green) – Starts at 50x your bet, up to a maximum of 500x.
• Mega (Red) – Starts at 1,000x your bet, up to a maximum of 10,000x.

During the Tippy Pots feature, a Jackpot Wheel will present itself, awarding 1 of 3 Jackpot Prizes at random. Once a Jackpot is awarded, it will reset to its starting value.

Tippy Spin

Another feature that can trigger in the base game is the Tippy Spin. Each Wild that lands will increase your chances of triggering the Tippy Spin feature. Once active, random symbols are replaced with Wilds.

Tippy’s Golden Pot Bonus

Landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatters in the base game triggers the Bonus round, awarding the following setup.

• 3 Scatters – Awards 3 Free Spins, no Stars collected, and 3 Coin symbols with values between 1x and 9x.
• 4 Scatters – Awards 4 Free Spins, 3 Stars collected, and 4 Coin symbols with values between 1x and 9x.
• 5 Scatters – Awards 4 Free Spins, 6 Stars collected, 4 Coin symbols with values between 1x and 9x, and 1 Chest (Persistent Collector) symbol.

During the Bonus round, up to 3 different symbol types can land on the reels; Coins with a value between 1x and 50x, Stars, and special symbols. Collecting 3 Stars will award an additional +1 Free Spin on each retrigger. Collecting 6 Stars will award a Persistent Collector (Chest) symbol.

All spins are reset when a new symbol lands on the reels. The round will end when there are no remaining spins left and no new symbols land in view. At the end of the round, all symbol values are awarded.

Tippy Gold

The Tippy Gold feature is only available in the Bonus round and is triggered when Diamond, Coin, Jug, Barrel, Pouch, and Chest symbols reach their defined value.

If a Coin, Jug, Barrel, or Pouch reaches a value of 250x your bet, they are transformed into a Tippy Gold symbol. If a Chest symbol reaches a value of 2,500x your bet, it is also transformed into a Tippy Gold symbol. Tippy Gold symbols can only be collected by Pouch or Chest symbols.

Hot Spots

Another feature that is only available in the Bonus round is Hot Spots. Randomly, on any spin, Hot Spots and Rainbow Hot Spots can appear on the reel area, up to a maximum of 3 at any one time.

There is an increased chance that a special symbol or Star will land on a reel with a Hot Spot present. A maximum of 1 Rainbow Hot Spot can appear on the reel area at any one time. For each Rainbow Hot Spot, a special symbol or Star is guaranteed to land within that reel position.

Bonus Buy

Those within Bonus Buy territory can indulge in up to 3 Bonus Buy options as follows.

• Bonus 1 – Retrigger to 3 Spins for 40x your bet.
• Bonus 2 – Retrigger to 4 Spins for 80x your bet.
• Bonus 3 – Retrigger to 4 Spins and a guaranteed Persistent Collector for 250x your bet.

Tippy’s Golden Pot: Our Verdict

We wondered how long into the new year it would take for us to see a new Snowborn slot appear, and they didn’t leave us hanging for long. First to grace us with its presence is Tippy’s Golden Pot, a sequel if you like to a slot that first introduced us to a happy-go-lucky chap named Tippy.

Moving on from his Tavern, Tippy takes us on a colourful journey over the rainbow where Golden treasures and Jackpot Prizes are waiting to be won, but will the luck of the Irish be on our side?

Tippy’s Golden Pot is very different from its predecessor, Tippy Tavern, crammed with interesting features, one of which is a cheeky Jackpot feature with values that increase each time Wilds land in view.

Hop, skip, and jump into the Bonus round, where the reels transform into a Hold & Win style grid equipped with special symbols and Coins. An additional 2 features come into play during this time, both adding a sprinkle of magic into gameplay. Hot Spots is a tried and tested feature seen previously in Masters of Valhalla, which enhances your chances of landing a special symbol in that particular position.

All in all, Tippy’s Golden Pot is a great offering from Snowborn Games, but it doesn’t quite have us on the edge of our seats like the Cat Clans series.
