Power up and claim the throne as King or Queen of the Kaijus in Push Gaming’s latest release, Triple Rampage!

Push Gaming is taking us on a nostalgic trip down memory lane to a time when Power Rangers and other action shows were all the rage. Back in 1993, when the series, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, first aired, it was every child’s dream to become the next Red or Pink Ranger.

After 32 years and hundreds of episodes, the Power Rangers series is still ongoing, albeit it’s bounced off a fair few entertainment platforms. It must be strange for parents to see their children watching Power Rangers, especially when it wasn’t long ago they were pressed up against the screen, screaming ‘IT’S MORPHIN TIME’ themselves.

With this in mind, Push Gaming brings a fresh perspective to this unique theme in Triple Rampage, where the ‘3 Pots’ mechanic is once again at the heart of gameplay. As previously witnessed in 3 Magic Pots, 3 Kaiju monsters take on the role of Feature Pots above the reels.

On the reels, Push Gaming has created its own team of super fighters and weapons, ready and able to kick the butts of Kaiju monsters and trigger exclusive Free Spins modes. We’ve noticed a steady influx of ‘3 Pots’ games recently, with Push Gaming being responsible for a couple of them, including Wild Swarm Triple Hive.

Triple Rampage offers all the key features of 3 Magic Pots, with a cosmetic glow-up that stands out against existing ‘3 Pot’ titles on the iGaming market. With a fixed RTP of 96.23% and a mid-low volatility score, this game can produce wins of up to 5,400x your bet.

Base Game & Features

Triple Rampage is the latest mid-low volatility release from Push Gaming, featuring 6 reels, 4 rows, and 4,096 ways to win. Fixed payouts between 0.1x and 5x your bet are applied to winning combinations of 3+ matching symbols, starting from reel 1.

The highest-paying symbol is the Red Super Fighter, awarding winning payouts of 0.5x, 1x, 2x, and 5x your bet for 3, 4, 5, or 6-of-a-kind. The 10 remaining paytable symbols, consisting of super fighters, weapons, and card suits, apply payouts between 0.1x and 2x your bet.

Lastly, Wild symbols substitute for all symbols within a qualifying win combination, except Collector, Instant Prize, Jackpot, and Token symbols. Please note that Wild symbols are only available on reels 2-6.

Token & Super Tokens

During each game session, up to 3 Tokens, corresponding to a unique Free Spins feature, can appear on the reels. Once in view, the Token is collected into its respective Kaiju (monster above the reels) for a chance to trigger its Free Spins feature.

Alternatively, Super Tokens are added to all 3 Kaiju pots simultaneously. Please note that multiple Tokens of the same colour can appear on the reels in a single spin, as can a mix of all 3.

Collect Feature

In addition to Tokens, each spin can reveal a series of Instant Prizes & Jackpot Coins, revealing a random value from a predefined set:

  • Instant Prizes: Between 0.1x and 90x your bet
  • Jackpots: Mini (15x), Minor (50x), Major (100x), Mega (1,000x)

During gameplay, landing a Collector symbol at the same time as an Instant Prize or Jackpot Coin will automatically collect the total value and apply it to the total win of the round. Collector symbols can only appear on reels 1 and/or 6.

Sticky Prizes

Occasionally, Instant Prizes and/or Jackpot Coins can become sticky on the reels. Once this happens, the sticky prizes will remain in position until a Collect Feature triggers.

Triple Rampage Free Spins

As mentioned previously, each time a Token symbol is collected into its respective Kaiju, there’s a chance for the corresponding Free Spins Feature to activate, awarding 7 Free Spins.

During either mode, collecting a matching Token symbol has a chance of awarding an additional +3 Free Spins. Each of the following Free Spins modes follows the same mechanics found in the base game, meaning the Collect Feature remains active.

Mega Reels

Activating the Blue Kaiju instantly triggers the Mega Reels Free Spins mode. In this round, the reel set expands to 6 rows, increasing the number of ways to win to 46,656.

Power Collector

Activating the Red Kaiju instantly triggers the Power Collector Free Spins mode. In this round, each Collector symbol on reels 1 and/or 6 will nudge down one row with each new spin. This continues until the Collect symbol exits the bottom of the reel position or until the feature ends.

Kaiju Cash

Activating the Green Kaiju instantly triggers the Kaiju Cash Free Spins mode. Once active, additional Instant Prize symbols are added to all reels.

Max Mayhem

Should all 3 Kaiju pots trigger simultaneously, the Max Mayhem Free Spins mode activates, awarding all 3 features and 10 Free Spins.

Our Honest Verdict

While Push Gaming has taken to the ‘3 Pots’ mechanic like a duck to water, it’s not to everyone’s liking, and given the massive influx of these types of games in the iGaming market right now, it’s proving harder to avoid them.

We’ve always admired Push Gaming for their innovation and creativity in each new release they produce; however, Triple Rampage marks the third release in quick succession to feature the ‘3 Pots’ mechanic.

While 3 Magic Pots quickly changed our perception of this mechanic, it was a somewhat bitter pill to swallow in Wild Swarm Triple Hive, given that it actively replaced our beloved Swarm Mode, of all things.

We understand that ongoing trends have a heavy influence, but push Gaming has lost some of the spark that made them a titan within the iGaming industry. Razor Shark, Big Bamboo, and Jammin’ Jars now feel like a bygone golden era, sadly.

In time, we’re confident Push Gaming will find their footing again, and though we’re struggling to accept yet another ‘3 Pots’ release, Triple Rampage has its moments of greatness through confident features, but even then, the best it can generate in terms of potential is 5,400x your bet, which is 592x less than 3 Magic Pots.

All in all, Triple Rampage wins points for its nostalgic theme and quality aesthetics, but it’s easily lost within the abundance of ‘3 Pots’ games that already exist on the iGaming market.
