Base Game & Features
Ultimate Slot of America is a highly volatile 5×5 Video Slot with 19 fixed pay lines and varying bet sizes between £.€0.10 and £.€100 per spin. Other statistics of note include an overall RTP of 96.35% and a sizable max win cap of 10,000x your bet.
Wins are evaluated when 3-5 matching symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. The 8 high and low-paying symbols represent American Icons and card suits (A-J), awarding fixed payouts between 0.2x and 10x your bet, where applicable.
Liberty Gems
Liberty Gems act as Wild symbols with active Multipliers between x1 and x10, substituting for all symbols except Scatters. Each time a Liberty Gem hits, it will trigger a Freedom Respin Feature, where all Liberty Gems remain in position. During this feature, each additional Liberty Gem that hits will trigger an extra Freedom Respin. This continues until no more liberty gems hit.
When a Liberty Gem participates in a win, its value is applied to the total win. Alternatively, if more than 1 Liberty Gem is part of the same win, their values are added together before being applied to the total win.
Gem Clusters
When 4+ Liberty Gems create a square formation 2×2, 3×3, 4×4, or 5×5, a special Gem Cluster is created. Gem clusters can grow in size if additional Liberty Gems land around the existing cluster, up to a maximum of 5×5. Please note that Gem Clusters can only be created in these exact square formats. Once a Gem Cluster is created, it can appear in two unique forms:
- Classic Cluster: The multiplier values of each liberty gem are added together to create one final multiplier.
- Epic Cluster: All liberty gem multipliers are added together and multiplied by a value between x2 and x20.

Our Honest Verdict
Ultimate Slot of America contains all of the right buzzwords and all of the right aesthetics to have an American player firing in the air in celebration, but for the rest of us, it’s a mid-tier Hacksaw slot. Hacksaw has opted for a more simplistic execution here, but the features remain quite effective and exciting if things go your way.
Hacksaw’s lower-end bonus rounds often come with ‘a greater chance’ of triggering a feature that you’ve barely experienced within the base game. Often, we find that these features feel no more frequent than they normally do, although many may disagree. The better bonus options are much more fun, but often an unrealistic prospect for the UK player who can’t buy their way in.
In this game, a 5-scatter bonus called the ‘Pursuit of Riches’ game exists. This is by far the most interesting, but again, infrequent.
America may call itself the greatest country in the world, but Ultimate Slot of America can’t claim to be its greatest slot. It does all of the basics very well, has excellent potential, but lacks the oomph that makes their other slots so desirable.
