Base Game & Features
Vikings Fight for Honour is a 5-reel, 4-row Video Slot with 40 active pay lines, and playable from £0.20 per spin, up to a max bet size of £12.50 per spin.
This game has 4 High-paying and 5 Low-paying symbols available, with the highest-paying producing wins of up to 10x your bet for a 5-line winning combination. Low-paying symbols are standard Royals; A, K, Q, J, and 10.
Wilds substitute for all symbols except Blazing Shards and Collect symbols. Wins occur when 3-5 matching symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel.
Vikings Fight for Honour has a theoretical RTP of 96.37%, a Medium Volatility rating, and a max win cap of 20,000x your bet. In addition, this game also has a 27.19% hit rate.
Blazing Shards
During gameplay, Blue, Purple, and Orange Shards can land on reels 1, 2, 3, and 4, increasing your win in the following ways:
- Thor’s Blazing Shard (Blue) – Awards between 1x and 5x your bet.
- Odin’s Blazing Shard (Purple) – Awards between 6x and 15x your bet.
- Ragnarok Blazing Shard (Orange) – Awards between 20x and 50x your bet.
When a Collect symbol lands on reel 5, the total value of all Blazing Shards present is awarded. Wins awarded during this feature are added to base game wins.
Collect Symbol
The Collect symbol appears with a random Multiplier between x1 and x5. This multiplier value is applied to the total value of all Blazing Shards currently in view.
Boost Feature
Before or after any game round, the Boost feature can be activated for an additional 50% of your current bet. Once active, it increases your chances of triggering the Bonus Game and includes more Blazing Shards, with Purple and Orange Shards appearing more frequently.
Battle Bonus Game
The Battle Bonus can be triggered each time a Blazing Shard symbol hits in the base game. Each Blazing Shard is collected into its corresponding chalice above the reel set.
There are 3 Battle Bonus rounds available, as follows:
- Thor’s Battle – This round is played with Blue Blazing Shards only.
- Odin’s Battle – This round is played with Purple Blazing Shards only.
- Fight for Honour – This round is played with Ragnarok Blazing Shards only.
Each round awards 3 Respins which reset each time a special symbol or Blazing Shard lands in view. Each Blazing Shard symbol that hits will remain in view until the end of the round.
Bonus Game Symbols
During the Battle Bonus, Blazing Shards, Ragnar Multipliers, Ingrid Extra Spins, and Mystery symbols are in play. The additional symbols award the following:
- Ragnar Multiplier – Includes a x1-x5 Multiplier value which adds to the current multiplier of the Bonus game, starting at x1. The total multiplier is applied to the total win of Blazing Shards. These symbols are removed from the following spin.
- Ingrid Extra Spin – Increases the number of Respins by +1. These symbols are removed from the following spin.
- Mystery Symbol – Reveals Ragnar, Ingrid, and Blazing Shard symbols. The Mystery symbol is only available in the Bonus game.
Jackpots
Another welcome addition to the Battle Bonus rounds are 3 Jackpot Prizes:
- Mini – Awarded when 10 Blazing Shards land in view, generating a 10x your bet prize.
- Major – Awarded when 15 Blazing Shards land in view, generating a 50x your bet prize.

Conclusion
Vikings Fight for Honour may not turn heads like Cossacks: The Wild Hunt did, but it’s up there with the very best Foxium titles, for sure. The Norse Mythology theme, high-quality graphics, and suspenseful sound effects keep the momentum going whilst you eagerly await the many features and functions to occur.
Before the Battle Bonus is triggered, players are swarmed with Blazing Shards that award wins of up to 50x their bet in a single hit, so long as a Collect symbol lands in the same spin. Collect symbols can multiply your Blazing Shard values between x1 and x5, making for some pretty impressive wins.
Blazing Shard symbols play an important part in triggering Battle Bonus rounds, where each one is collected and stored in its corresponding chalice above the reels. Depending on which Battle Bonus is awarded, each round begins with 3 refilling Respins and additional special symbols.
Like Norse Mythology Gods themselves, Foxium has given each special symbol the power to enhance the Battle Bonus, with Ragnar Multipliers, Ingrid Extra Spins, and Mystery symbols. It’s during this time that 3 Jackpot Prizes can be won, with the Grand Jackpot worth up to a staggering 20,000x your bet!
