Vikings Go To Vegas Slot Review
Free from their latest endeavours, the Vikings storm into the neon-lit casinos of Vegas to blow off steam and take on their biggest gamble yet.
Vikings Go To Vegas is the latest in a long line of instalments, created by the popular software developer Yggdrasil Gaming. After conquering epic battles in Vikings Go To Olympus and Vikings Go To Egypt, the team has come together to take over Vegas and rinse the casinos of their many fortunes.
Gear up for yet another Wild Fight during free spins, where each Viking will swing their blade on every spin. Should they come out on top, they transform into Sticky Wilds. Winnings are amped up when rage points are collected, scoring victories when the rage meter is filled, triggering Bezerk Mode.
Join forces with legendary Vikings in this mildly-volatile and entertaining Norse Mythology-themed release, offering a fixed RTP of 94% and a custom max win cap of 4,375x your bet.

Base Game & Features
Consisting of 5 reels, 4 rows, and 25 fixed pay lines, Vikings Go To Vegas follows the same configurations as its predecessors. Wins occur when 3-5 matching symbols land from left to right, starting from reel 1.
The 8 high and low-paying symbols are represented by 4 Viking characters and 4 card suits, A, K, Q, & J, awarding a fixed payout between 0.2x and 10x your bet when they are part of a winning combination.
In addition, Wild symbols are present on all reels and substitute for all paytable symbols.

Chests
During gameplay, special Silver & Gold Chests appear on reels 4 and 5, respectively. When they appear, they reveal a random Prize from the following outcomes:
- Silver Chest: In the base game, silver chests reveal a cash prize between 2x and 40x your bet, or 7, 14, or 21 Free Spins. However, in free spins, silver chests reveal prizes between 2x and 40x your bet, up to +4 Free Spins, a wild reel, or 1-2 extra wilds.
- Gold Chest: In the base game, gold chests reveal cash prizes between 10x and 400x your bet, up to 21 free spins, rage boost +25%, or Ragnarok free spins trigger. However, in free spins, gold chests reveal prizes between 10x and 400x your bet, up to +4 free spins, 2 extra wilds, or 1 wild reel.
If a Gold or Silver chest lands on top of a Sticky Wild symbol, both the chest and wild symbol are active during that spin.

Vikings Rage
In the base game, a winning combination created using high-paying (Viking) symbols is collected into a special Rage Meter to the left of the main reel set – the longer the combinations, the more rage is given.
Once a rage meter is filled, +1 Free Spin is awarded, which triggers that particular Viking in Berzerk Mode. Please note that spin is played out at your current bet level.
Each Viking win guarantees a number of Rage Points towards that symbol’s meter. Each progression bar can hold up to 700 rage points at maximum. As an example, collecting 700 rage points will award 7 Free Spins.
For 3, 4, or 5-of-a-kind, +4, +12, and +36 Rage Points are awarded, respectively. In addition, when you first load the game, a Viking character will have its rage meter boosted by 50% as a welcome gift.

Berzerk Mode
When a high-paying (Viking) symbol has its rage meter filled, it will transform into a Sticky Wild symbol. Vikings can become ‘Berzerk’ by filling their rage meter or upon entry into Ragnarok Free Spins.
Bonus Buy
Players outside the UK jurisdiction can participate in 1 of 3 Bonus Buy options from the following:
- 7 Free Spins + Random Feature: 40x your bet
- 14 Free Spins + Random Feature: 120x your bet
- 21 Free Spins + Random Feature: 260x your bet
Unfortunately, there is no option to purchase Silver or Gold Chests, nor is there any additional information regarding RTP variants or volatility ratings.
The max win cap for Vikings Go To Vegas is fixed at 4,375x your bet. If this figure is achieved during a game round, you will return to the base game with this figure applied to your total win.

Vikings Go To Vegas Slot Free Spins
Landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatters in the base game triggers the Free Spins mode, awarding 7, 14, and 21 Free Spins plus a random feature, respectively. Before you enter Free Spins, one of the following features is awarded:
- Ragnarok Free Spins
- 1-3 additional Free Spins
- Extra wild
- +5 Gold and Silver chests, giving players a boosted opportunity to win a chest during this feature
During this round, all Wild symbols remain sticky on the reels until the end of the feature. Furthermore, Viking symbols have a chance to transform into Sticky Wilds, too. The transformation occurs before wins are paid out and remains persistent throughout spins.

Ragnarok Free Spins
During Ragnarok Free Spins, each Viking is in its ‘Berzerk’ state and always transforms into a Sticky Wild when in view. Ragnarok Free Spins can also be won from a Gold Chest or in the Bonus Randomiser prior to the regular Free Spins mode.
Our Honest Verdict
The Vikings Go series from Yggdrasil Gaming has travelled down many interesting paths since the release of Vikings Go Wild in 2015. If you’ve often wondered what a group of historic Vikings would look like along the Vegas strip, you’ve definitely come to the right place.
The choice of themes Yggdrasil Gaming serves up in this series is about as wild as the features and mechanics they bring to the table. In Vikings Go To Vegas, many of the much-loved features and mechanics have returned, including Berzerk Mode and the Wild Fight feature.
This time, the Vikings are facing the legendary Cleopatra, however, we’re unsure what relevance she has to the Vegas strip, if any. Nevertheless, it’s a battle you won’t want to miss out on. In addition, Yggdrasil has thrown in Silver & Gold Chests, which unlock a series of prizes upon collection, quite like the mystery chests found in Wild Swarm 2.
All in all, this release is not quite as visually pleasing when compared to its predecessors, yet it does offer a number of unique upgrades that make it a better offering for players looking for innovative features and mechanics.
