Viper City has that GTA, video game look about it, which lets you know you’re in for fast-paced, gripping action in every spin. Through the interesting backstory, the classic/Vegas theme is also prominent in the backdrop and certain symbols.

Base Game & Features
Viper City is a mid-high volatility release with 5 reels, 3 rows, and 20 fixed pay lines. Wins are guaranteed when 3-5 matching symbols land from left to right, beginning on reel 1.
Paytable symbols include 5 Character Icons and 4 Poker Chips (A-J), each awarding a fixed payout between 0.3x and 20x your bet, where applicable.
In addition, the Boss Icon acts as a Wild, substituting for all symbols except Vault Scatters and Bonus Prizes. This symbol awards a fixed payout of 2x, 5x, and 20x your bet for 3, 4, and 5-of-a-kind.
Money Bag & Bonus Prizes
There are 2 types of prize symbols in this game: Money Bags and Bonus Prizes (briefcase icons).
Inside each Briefcase is a fixed Jackpot of Minor (20x), Major (100x), or Grand (1,000x). Alternatively, when a Money Bag icon hits, it will reveal a random cash prize between 0.5x and 15x your bet.
Quick Hit Feature
Whenever a Briefcase or Money Bag icon lands on any non-winning spin, the Quick Hit feature may randomly trigger. This feature is also available during the Free Spins mode.
Once this feature is active, up to 3 Briefcase or Money Bag prizes will be instantly awarded.
Heist Respins
When 4 or more Briefcase or Money Bag icons land in view, it will trigger the Heist Respins feature, awarding 3 Respins.
All prize icons that trigger this feature, plus any that land during it, will lock onto the reels until the end of the session. All paytable symbols are removed from play, leaving only Briefcase and Money Bag icons available.
When a new prize icon hits, it will reset the Respins meter to 3. This feature continues until all Respins are used or the entire grid is filled with prize icons.
Viper City Heist Slot Free Spins
Landing 2 Vault Scatters on the middle row of reels 2 & 4 triggers the Vault Raid Free Spins mode. Once active, a special Vault Wheel will determine the number of Free Spins and the initial Multiplier from the following outcomes:
- Free Spins: 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, or 20
- Multiplier: x2, x3, x4, or x5
In this round, landing 2 Vault Scatters will award an additional +2 Free Spins, increasing the current Multiplier by +x1. Furthermore, Quick Hit and Heist Respins can be triggered during this time.
The multiplier applies to all wins that occur throughout the round, including prize icons, but only if Quick Hit and/or Heist Respins are triggered.
Our Honest Verdict
Viper City Heist will certainly win the hearts of video game enthusiasts everywhere, but its catalogue of features and mechanics is some of the most overused in the iGaming industry.
The value of money bag icons is merely satisfactory, but the real potential lies with the Briefcase prizes, which are worth up to 1,000x your bet. However, you’re not reliant on Collect symbols to access cash prizes, but rather a Quick Hit feature.
The Quick Hit feature can only activate during a non-winning spin, either in the base game or Free Spins mode, but only then can it award 1-3 cash prizes on the grid. If you’re met with a mix of briefcase and money bag icons, it’s not guaranteed which of the prizes will be awarded.
The Heist Respins feature is another way of guaranteeing cash prizes. This is done through a simple Hold & Win function, where all cash prizes (both briefcase and money bags) are held in their positions and paid out at the end.
When triggering the Free Spins mode, you’re required to land 2 Scatters within designated positions on reels 2 & 4. It’s not the most achievable feature on offer, but it’s certainly the most anticipated given the max win potential of 15,000x your bet.
All in all, Viper City has a fast-paced, action-packed theme, but it fails to deliver the same excitement through repetitive features and mechanics.
