Compared to Kodiak Kingdom, Wildfire Wins probably has the least impressive theme choice, if you can really call this one particular theme. Wildfire Wins has the lucky Horseshoe and Clover symbols which leans us towards an Irish theme, but then it also has 7’s and Bells which is typical of a classic fruit machine theme. It’s fair to say that Wildfire Wins is a bit of a mixed bag, making it unique in it’s own way.

Wildfire Wins Betting and Symbols

Wildfire Wins has a small selection of betting options for players to choose from. For those who prefer a lower stake, the minimum bet available here is £/€0.20 per spin. For those who prefer a higher stake, the maximum bet available is £/€25 per spin, with a few other options in between the two. The maximum bet may not seem high enough compared to other slots, but we feel that this will be sufficient enough for most players.

The highest paying regular symbol in Wildfire Wins is the Diamond, followed by the Bell, the number 7, the Horseshoe and the Clover. Lower paying symbols are standard Ace, King, Queen, Jack and Ten. All lower-paying symbols come in two forms, regular symbols and special ‘fire’ symbols.

Wilds substitute for all symbols except Scatter symbols.

Wildfire Wins Base Game and Features

Wildfire Wins is a 5 reel slot with 50 fixed paylines. In order to form a win, you will need to collect 3 or more of the same symbols from left to right, starting from the left-most reel.

Wildfire Wins doesn’t have it’s own Free Spins round, but Just For The Win soon makes up for this by including both Wildfire Respin and Wildfire Wheels features in the base game. The Wildfire Wheels feature could be classed as some kind of bonus round, but it’s not quite the same as a Free Spins round.

Wildfire Respin Feature

During the base game, any winning combination that has at least 1 low-paying fire symbol present, automatically triggers the Wildfire Respin feature. All activated low-paying fire symbols will be tracked on the Collection Meter on the left side of the screen.

During the Wildfire Respin, any instances of the awarded low-paying fire symbol that land will become Sticky Wilds. All sticky Wilds will remain in their fixed position for the duration of this feature.

The Wildfire Respin feature will continue until no more matching low paying fire symbols land in view.

If all low paying symbols are activated, you will be awarded one final Wildfire Respin. All winning combinations on the final Wildfire Respin will be multiplied by a random Multiplier of either x2, x3, x5 or x10.

Wildfire Wheels Feature

During the base game or in Wildfire Respins, landing 3 Scatters on reels 1,3 and 5, triggers the Wildfire Wheels feature.

Once triggered, you will be greeted by 3 Wheels in Bronze, Silver and Gold, each with 8 different wedge segments.

The Bronze and Silver Wheels have Cash Prizes on 7 of their wedge segments, with the 8th wedge segment having an upgrade to the next available Wheel. The 3rd and final Gold Wheel has 1 wedge segment with the maximum win capacity of 10,000x on it, which makes up for the missing level up wedge segment that the previous 2 Wheels have.

When the awarded Wheel stops on a wedge segment with a Cash Prize on it, the value is collected and the Wheel will then spin again. The possible Cash Prizes on each of the Wheels are as follows.

• Bronze Wheel – Can award either 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 7x, 10x and 15x your current bet.
• Silver Wheel – Can award either 3x, 5x, 7x, 10x, 15x, 25x and 100x your current bet.
• Gold Wheel – Can award either 5x, 10x, 20x, 30x, 50x, 100x, 25x or 10,000x.

Landing on the 10,000x or Collect wedge segments will end the Wildfire Wheels feature.

Wildfire Wins: Our Verdict

Just For The Win has taken a more laid back approach in terms of design, with Wildfire Wins looking more like a hot mess rather than a smoking success in our opinion.  Despite how it looks, Wildfire Wins has plenty of potential to offer its players, with an impressive 10,000x maximum win up for grabs. Considering its theme, we feel that Wildfire Wins will be better suited to players who have an appreciation for a Classic.

Wildfire Wins lacks in any kind of Free Spins round, so if that’s a key part in choosing your slots then you may want to avoid this one. Although Wildfire Wins is lacking in certain areas, it soon makes up for with its Wildfire Respin and Wildfire Wheels features. If you’re lucky enough to make it to the Gold Wheel in the Wildfire Wheels feature, the probability of you landing on the 10,000x segment is no doubt pretty slim.

All in all, if you’re in the market for a slot that is simple and easy to understand but still has plenty of potential, then Wildfire Wins is definitely a worthy choice.
