Diamonds 4 The Season Slot Review
A bank vault door, chrome and gold with a diamond set in its wheel, sits on top of a fruit machine wearing a ridge of snow. Candy canes lean against it, holly berries poke out from the drifts, and big snowflakes drift down a pale blue sky. This is Diamonds 4 The Season, a Christmas-dressed three-reeler from Push Gaming, and it’s a game where one reel position matters more than any other spot on the board: the centre, where the respins start, the multipliers land and the wilds do their best work.
It runs on a 3×3 grid with five win lines, and every feature hangs on one symbol: the Diamond Wild, which triggers respins, fills the vault and carries multipliers of up to x10. It sits alongside Santa’s Vault, Diamonds 4 The Win and Vegas Vault in the studio’s vault-loving back catalogue. One symbol, three features, and a single reel position doing most of the work.
Base Game & Features
Diamonds 4 The Season is a classic fruit machine at heart: three reels, three symbols per reel, five fixed win lines, and a paytable made entirely of the old favourites. Sevens, horseshoes and the BAR family are the entire cast, and only the highest combination on a line counts. Wins pay left to right across those five lines.

There’s nothing else to configure beyond your bet size. The pays are quoted as multiples of the total bet, so at any stake they read the same way. Here’s the full ladder:
- Red 777 – 10x the total bet for three
- Blue 777 – 5x for three
- Horseshoe – 3x for three
- BAR (triple) – 2x for three
- BAR (double) – 1.5x for three
- BAR (single) – 1x for three
- Diamond Wild – 20x the total bet for three, making it the richest symbol in the game
Notice how steep the drop is from the wild to everything else. The Diamond Wild substitutes for every other paying symbol, so it’s both the builder of every big line and the top prize in its own right. Nothing else on the reels comes close.
That substitution matters more here than it would on a five-reel game. With only three positions per reel and five lines to cover, a single wild in the middle of the grid touches the centre line and both diagonals at once. Two wilds together turn most of the board into near-winning lines.

The five lines cover the three rows and the two diagonals, which is the standard arrangement for a 3×3 grid. There’s no scatter and no separate bonus symbol anywhere on the reels. The Diamond Wild does every job in this game, and it’s the only route into anything beyond a line win.
Controls are exactly what you’d expect from a three-reeler. Bets are picked from a fixed menu. Autoplay runs a chosen number of rounds with the counter shown on the spin button, and pressing it again cancels the run. Turbo Mode plays the animations through quickly, and Quick Play skips them altogether.

Diamonds 4 The Season Bonus Features
Diamond Respins
The respins begin when a Diamond Wild occupies the central reel position. From that point, every further Wild Diamond that lands continues the respins, keeping the round alive. The moment a spin passes with no Diamonds at all, the feature ends and the total win is evaluated.
It’s a simple loop with a clear exit condition, and it means a single well-placed Diamond can snowball into a run of respins. Everything depends on that centre position, which is where the multipliers live too. The round can last one respin or a dozen, and there’s no fixed limit on how long the Diamonds can keep it going.
The Diamond Vault
Above the reels sits the Diamond Vault, and any Diamond Wild that lands anywhere is collected into it. Collecting a Diamond gives the vault a chance to grow, react, or activate the Super Diamond Respins. What the vault does on any given collection isn’t fixed, which gives each Wild a second job beyond its line wins.
In practice the vault is the game’s pacing mechanism. The base game feeds it one Diamond at a time, and the longer you play, the more the vault has to work with. A Diamond that misses the centre position and pays nothing on the lines still isn’t wasted, because it goes into the vault regardless.
Super Diamond Respins
When the vault activates, a Diamond Wild is added to the central reel position with a random multiplier attached. Any win that central Diamond creates is then multiplied by its value. The multipliers on offer are:
- x2
- x3
- x5
- x10
Because the respin loop only ends when a spin brings no Diamonds, a multiplier Diamond in the centre can keep paying across multiple respins. The multiplier applies only to wins built from the central Diamond, not to everything on screen.
The ceiling on that multiplier is x10. A x10 central Diamond combining with three Red 777s would pay 100x the total bet on that line alone, before any further respins add to the running total. Stack a second wild into the combination and the whole board pays through the same multiplier.

Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7/10
Playing this is mostly watching one spot on the grid. Every Diamond that lands anywhere feeds the vault, but the money lives in that centre position, and when a multiplier Diamond settles there, the whole three-reeler briefly feels like a much bigger game. That’s the reason to pick it: a fruit machine where the middle of the board can quietly turn into the best real estate on screen, all wrapped in snow and candy canes.
The strength is that nothing is wasted. Every symbol, every collection and every respin feeds the same loop, so a game with five lines and a 3×3 grid still has somewhere to go. The weakness is the ceiling. The best the multipliers reach is x10 on wins built from one position, and the base paytable underneath is modest, so even a good round pays like a good round of a small game.
This is one for players who like their slots simple, readable and festive, where a session is a steady build of Diamonds into a vault rather than a hunt for a life-changing line. Anyone after the huge ceilings Push Gaming can build elsewhere will find it here wrapped in tinsel. For a fireside spin in December, though, it fits the season nicely.
