Pragmatic Play introduces their latest Megaways release, Money Stacks Megaways, which covers the classic theme with modern techniques and features!
Set to release in mid-December, Money Stacks Megaways is a continuation of Pragmatic Play’s August release, Money Stacks, which uses Big Time Gaming’s Megaways mechanic as a means of upgrade. With Money Stacks Dice also available, this latest release marks the beginning of a series.
Since the release of the Megaways mechanic, new releases to include this function have significantly dropped. Base Game & Features
Money Stacks Megaways is a highly volatile 6-reel Video Slot with up to 117,649 ways to win, courtesy of the Megaways mechanic. Each reel delivers varying heights per spin, up to a maximum of 7 symbols high.
Wins are established when 3 or more matching symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. Winning symbols can also be part of the additional Sliding Reel above the main reel set, which holds 4 High and/or Low-paying symbols.
Each winning sequence is removed and replaced with new symbols via a Cascade Feature. This enables players to create additional wins in a single spin. Winning symbols that are part of the Sliding Reel are also removed and refilled.
Symbols that contribute to winning combinations include Low-paying card suits (A-9) and High-paying classic fruit icons. Depending on the symbol type, payouts range between 0.05x and 10x your bet. Wilds appear on reels 2-5, substituting for all symbols except Scatter, Money, Collect, and Super Collect symbols.
Money Stacks Megaways is considered a highly volatile slot with an overall RTP of 96.51% and a generous max win cap of 10,000x your bet.
Money Collect Feature
In the base game, special Money symbols appear on reels 2-5 and are assigned a random value between 0.5x and 20x your bet. They may also be assigned 1 of 3 Jackpot Prizes as follows:
- Minor: 25x your bet
- Major: 100x your bet
- Grand: 1,000x your bet
Triggering the Money Collect feature requires a Collect or Super Collect symbol to land on reels 1 and/or 6. When a collect symbol appears with Money symbols in view, their values are collected and applied to your total win for that spin.
Landing a Super Collect symbol will add a random number of Money symbols onto reels with at least 1 Money symbol already present. After, all their values are collected and applied to your total win for that spin. Whenever 2 Collect or Super Collect symbols appear in the same spin, a random Multiplier between x2 and x10 is applied.
Ante Bet
Players can choose to activate the Ante Bet feature for Double their current bet. Once active, your chances of triggering Free Spins are tripled.

Free Spins
Landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 Scatters anywhere in the base game automatically triggers the Free Spins round. Alternatively, Money symbols without a Collect or Super Collect symbol can also trigger Free Spins randomly.
Once Free Spins has been triggered, you will choose between 2 Modes:
Free Spins with Random Multipliers
This round awards 7, 10, 12, and 15 Free Spins for 3, 4, 5, or 6 triggering Scatters respectively. Before the round begins, you will need to select a Fuse to reveal a special Bonus Boost Modifier – these include:
- A further +1, +2. or +3 Free Spins
- A multiplier of x1, x2, or x3
- Extra high-paying symbols added to the reels
At the start of Free Spins, a special Global Multiplier of x1 is active. Each winning sequence increments the Global Multiplier by +x1 and Wild symbols carry a Multiplier of x2, x3, or 5. When 2 or more Multiplier Wilds are part of the same winning sequence, their values are added together and applied.
Landing 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 Scatters at this time awards an additional +2, +3. +4, +5, or +6 Free Spins respectively.
Money Spins
This round awards 2, 3, 4, and 7 Free Spins for 3, 4, 5, or 6 triggering Scatters respectively. Before the round begins, you will be tasked with choosing a Fuse to reveal a special Boost Modifier – these include:
- +1 Free Spin
- +x1 Multiplier
- 2 Guaranteed collect symbols per spin
- 2 Guaranteed super collect symbols per spin
- Higher megaways which increase the number of symbols per spin
Unlike Multiplier Free Spins, you can continue to choose Fuses until you reveal an ‘End’ message.
During this round, only Money, Collect, Super Collect, and Blank symbols are in play. With each spin, at least 1 Collect or Super Collect symbol is guaranteed to land on the reels.
Our Verdict
With the release of Money Stacks Megaways in December 2024, this series of Pragmatic Play slots is officially a trilogy.
