Volcano Goddess Demo
Volcano Goddess Slot Review
Volcano Goddess from Pragmatic Play hits casinos when it releases in March, but is it worth the wait? At first glance, we’re not so sure.
We’re not writing it off before we’ve begun, but we had to check the date to ensure that we were in fact in 2025. It wouldn’t look out of place if it were released years ago, but perhaps there’s more than meets the eye.
Its Moana-esque mein is interesting, so it deserves some applause for not being completely generic. Perhaps its gameplay and features will be worthy of applause as well.

Base Game & Features
Volcano Goddess is a standard 5-reel, 3-row Video Slot with 243 ways to win and varying bet sizes between £.€0.10 and £.€240 per spin. Other game elements include a High Volatility rating, an overall RTP of 96.49%, and a sizable max win cap of 20,000x your bet.
Wins are constructed when 3-5 matching symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. Volcano Goddes has 5 High-paying and 3 Low-paying symbols present, each producing payouts between 0.05x and 3x your bet. Wilds appear on reels 2, 3, and 4, substituting for all symbols except Scatter and Money symbols.
Money Symbols
In a game round, special Money symbols can appear in view with a random Cash Value between 0.1x and 1,000x your bet. When 6 or more Money symbols hit in the base game, they trigger a choice between Respins and Free Spins.
Bonus Game
Whenever a Wild symbol lands on the reels, it can randomly trigger the Bonus Game. Above the main reel set is 4 individual Jackpot Prizes – these include:
- Mini: 100x your bet
- Minor: 225x your bet
- Major: 1,000x your bet
- Grand: 5,000x your bet
In the Bonus Game, there are 12 Icons to choose from, which reveal the individual Jackpot names. Continue picking Icons until 3 of the same Jackpot names have been revealed. Once this happens, the Bonus Game will end and the respective Jackpot Prize will be awarded.
Bonus Buy
Non-UK players can use the Bonus Buy option to purchase the Free Spins round for an additional 100x their current bet. Once active, 6+ Money symbols will land across the reels in the next spin.
Respins
When 6 or more Money symbols land in a single spin, the game enters a Bonus Choice phase, where players can choose between Respins and Free Spins.
In Respins, each triggering Money symbol remains in place and all other paytable symbols fade out. During this round, only Money symbols and Blanks can hit and stop. Each Money symbol that appears will also remain in position until the end of the feature.
Money symbols can appear in Gold or Green on the reels. Each Gold Money symbol takes the total value of all triggering Money symbols, while Green Money symbols exhume the total value of all Money symbols currently in view.
If more than 1 Green Money symbol hits during a Respin, the new symbol will also take the value of each other, depending on the position it appears on the reels, from left to right and top to bottom. Green Money symbols can also award +1 Respin, but this is not guaranteed.
In addition, +1 additional Respin can be awarded when an Extra Spins symbol hits. The Respins feature begins with 6 initial Respins and more can be awarded through Green Money and Extra Spins symbols. The round ends when there are no Respins left or all 15 positions are filled with Money symbols. Filling the entire grid with Money symbols instantly awards the Grand Jackpot.

Free Spins
When choosing the Free Spins round, an initial 8 Free Spins are awarded. In this round, the total number of triggering Money symbols becomes the Pay It Again value.
During Free Spins, only High-paying and Gold Money symbols are persistent on the reels. Each Gold Money symbol acts as Wild and substitutes for all active paytable symbols. For every Gold Money symbol that hits, the Pay It Again value is also awarded.
Landing 3 or more Money symbols awards an additional +3 Free Spins. Lastly, on any random spin, the Grand Jackpot can be instantly awarded.

Our Verdict
Volcano Goddess is a rather forgettable instalment, truth be told. Pragmatic Play’s release schedule is as hectic as they come as a titan in the iGaming industry, but it’s very generic, quite boring and quite frankly unenthusiastic.
It comes with classic gameplay that many may appreciate, such as a pick and click feature, good old fashioned money symbols in a respin round and jackpots, but we’re not fans.
We can appreciate it from the perspective of someone who prefers such simplicity, but for us its simply a bad game. It feels like filler between the next actually good game from Pragmatic Play/
