Base Game & Features
Atlantis 10K Ways is a 6-reel Video Slot with 10,000x ways to win, an additional Sliding Reel, and varying bet sizes between £.€0.20 and £.€40 per spin. Other significant attributes include a Mid-High Volatility rating, an overall RTP of 96.16%, and a fixed max win cap of 5,662x your bet.
Wins are created when 2-6 matching symbols hit from the first reel across a minimum of 3, including the additional Sliding Reel above the main reel set. There are a total of 10 High and Low-paying symbols, each producing payouts between 0.1x and 100x your bet. Wild symbols appear on the top Sliding Reel only, substituting for all symbols except Scatters.
When a winning combination is awarded, each winning symbol is removed and replaced with new ones from above, via a Cascade Feature. This enables players to create or enhance additional winning sequences within the same spin. Winning symbols on the Sliding Reel will also be replaced with new ones.
Pearl Respins
Landing 6 or more Chest Scatters across the main reel set triggers the Pearl Respins feature, awarding 3 Respins as standard.
In this round, all Scatter symbols are held and remain in position until the end of the feature. When a new Scatter symbol hits, it locks onto the reels and resets the Respins counter to 3. Each Scatter symbol reveals a random Cash or Jackpot Prize from the following:
- Regular Scatters: Award prizes between 1x and 100x your bet
- Mini Jackpot: Awards 10x your bet
- Minor Jackpot: Awards 50x your bet
- Major Jackpot: Awards 250x your bet
- Grand Jackpot: Awards 2,000x your bet
The Respins feature is complete when no more spins remain or all visible positions are filled with Scatter symbols. Please note, that Mini and Minor Jackpots can be awarded more than once per feature.
Pearl Bonuses
During the Respins feature, special Pearl Bonuses can appear on the reels. When in view, they will reveal a Multiplier value between x10 and x2,000 which is applied to the total win of the round.
Our Verdict
Atlantis 10K Ways is an exciting and high-paced underwater slot containing the power of the legendary Poseidon. When comparing this release to its predecessor, you will find many similarities, right down to the Jackpot Prizes.
After vigorous testing, we found Atlantis 10K Ways to be less impressive than the original. This is due to the reduced number of ways to win and the lack of the Megaways mechanic. It’s not a terrible instalment by any means, but it doesn’t have the characteristics and improved features to make it stand out from its predecessor.
The only real improvement can be found with statistics, in particular, the max win cap. The original Atlantis Megaways, although quipped with the Megaways mechanic, can only produce wins worth up to 4,055x your bet. In this release, you will find a slight increase of 5,662x your bet. If you’re looking at potential, then Atlantis 10K Ways is a much more appealing offer, but overall, there isn’t much difference between the two.
