As the popular saying goes, ‘Don’t put all your eggs in one basket’, but that’s exactly what you want to be doing in Eggs Bonanza. Farm animal slots aren’t exactly uncommon, but when it comes to Hens in particular, they are usually accompanied by a menacing fox looking for its next meal.

Eggs Bonanza Base Game and Features

Eggs Bonanza is a 5-reel slot with 243 ways to win. Winning combinations are formed when 3 or more of the same symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel.

The minimum bet available here is £.€0.10 per spin and the maximum bet available is £.€25 per spin, with plenty of other options in between the two. This game has a theoretical RTP of 96.00% and a max win cap of 15,000x.

In terms of symbols, the highest-paying regular symbol here is the Chick, followed by the Ladybug, Bell, Corn, and Horseshoe. Low-paying symbols are standard Ace, King, Queen, and Jack. Wilds appear only on reels 1, 2, 4, and 5, substituting for all symbols except Scatters, Eggs, Golden Eggs, and Collect symbols.

Bonanza Booster

At the bottom of the reel set sits a special meter known as the Bonanza Booster. The Bonanza Booster shows the collection progress of Token symbols.

The Bonanza Booster initially starts off empty and can be filled with up to 16 Tokens during the base game, but is also used in the Bonanza Bonus.

When a Bonus symbol lands on reels 1 and 3, the Bonanza Booster will increase by +1 position. If you choose to change your bet, the Bonanza Booster will not be affected.

Tokens

There are 2 different types of Token symbols available during gameplay; Bonanza Booster and Collect tokens. Before Bonus Spins begin, all Bonanza Booster tokens are randomly distributed to special Collection Feature meters.

Two Bonanza Booster tokens equal 1 Collection token. If an uneven number of Bonanza Booster tokens are collected, 1 Token will be discarded. At the end of Bonus Spins, the remaining Collection tokens will be added to the Bonanza Booster meter.

Chicky Respins

Triggering the Chicky Respins feature is done so by landing 2 Golden Egg symbols on reels 1 and 5. Once active, the feature will begin with 1 Chicky Respin. Golden Eggs can land with a random value between 1x and 200x your bet.

During this time, all High and Low-paying symbols are removed from play. Reels will spin to reveal either Eggs, 1UP, or Blank symbols. Landing an Egg or 1UP symbol will trigger an additional Chicky Respin.

Landing a 1UP symbol will increase the Chicky Respin Multiplier by +x1, up to a maximum of x5. When the Multiplier reaches x5, no additional 1UP symbols can land in view.

At the end of Chicky Respins, the total value of all Egg symbols will be multiplied by the total win Multiplier and awarded.

Eggs Collect

Eggs Collect is another feature that can be triggered during any random spin in the base game, when 1 or more Egg symbol lands at the same time as a Collect symbol. The Collect symbol can only land on reel 5.

Once this happens, all present Egg symbols and their values are collected and awarded. Egg symbols can land with a random value between 1x and 200x your bet.

Eggs Bonanza: Bonanza Bonus

Landing 3 Bonus symbols on reels 1, 3, and 5 during the base game triggers the Bonanza Bonus round, awarding 3 Bonus Spins. Landing any available symbol on any of the reels resets the number of Bonus Spins back to 3.

Before the round begins, Bonanza Booster tokens will be randomly distributed to Collection feature meters. The Bonanza Bonus will end when no new symbols land across the reels, or if all positions are filled.

Collection Features

There are 4 Collection features available during the Bonanza Booster round; Doubler, Spinner, Expander, and Prizer. The Collection feature is triggered when 3 corresponding symbols land on the reels.

Doubler, Spinner, and Expander features can be triggered up to 2 times, and the Prizer feature can be triggered up to 4 times during this round. Once a feature is triggered, the corresponding Collection feature meter will reset.

• Doubler – All Egg symbols on the reels will be multiplied by x2. Prize Eggs that have not been won yet will also be Multiplied by x2.
• Spinner – Awards +1 extra Bonus Spin on each retrigger.
• Expander – On the first trigger, +1 extra row is activated above the reel set. On the second trigger, +1 extra row is activated below the reel set.
• Prizer – When a Collection symbol triggers the feature, it is replaced by an Egg symbol. On the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th trigger, the Prize Egg symbol will reveal values of 15x, 50x, 200x, and 1,000x your bet respectively.

Eggs Bonanza Bonus Buy

Those outside the UK will benefit from a Bonus Buy option. Snowborn Games has granted players access to the Bonanza Bonus for a total cost of 70x your bet.

When purchasing the Bonanza Bonus, you will get drawn a random number of Collection Tokens (between 1 and 8) to start the round with.

Eggs Bonanza: Our Verdict

If there’s one thing we love about a Snowborn Games title, it’s that each one is uniquely different from those before it.

Snowborn Games has come a long way since the release of Legend of the Sword, so much so that you wouldn’t believe they were the Provider behind it. Little did we know that good things were coming our way in the form of Cat Clans, Cats of the Caribbean, among others.

Eggs Bonanza steps aside from Wild Multipliers and brings forth Egg Collection and Chicky Respin features. However, Eggs Bonanza still has Snowborn Games’ stamp on it, with 1UP symbols and an interesting Bonanza Booster meter all present.

One thing Snowborn hasn’t deviated from is a Respins Bonus round, which seems to be their go-to instead of Free Spins. Certain players may feel more at home with Free Spins, but there seems to be an increase in slots that feature Respins, where even Nolimit City has headed down this route in Bounty Hunters.

In typical Snowborn fashion, they have loaded Eggs Bonanza up with a variety of interesting features and modifiers, suitable for a range of players and their particular preferences.
