Joker Split Base Game and Features

Joker Split is a 6×6 Video slot with a Cluster Pays mechanic. Winning combinations are formed when 5 or more of the same symbols land adjacent to each other, either Horizontally or Vertically.

The minimum bet available here is £.€0.10 per spin and the maximum bet available is £.€10 per spin, with plenty of other options in between the two. Joker Split has a theoretical RTP of 96.10% and a max win cap of 20,000x.

In terms of symbols, the highest-paying regular symbol here is the Crown, followed by the Purple Balls, Green Shakers, and Blue Dice. Low-paying symbols fall to Red, Green, and Blue Gems.

Joker Wilds can land across the grid, substituting for all High and Low-paying symbols. Joker Wilds may appear with a Multiplier attached to them, which is applied to any Cluster wins that the Wild symbol is part of. Multiple Joker Wilds in the same win will have their Multipliers added together and then applied.

Splitting Wild Respins

During the base game, whenever a Wild symbol is part of a winning cluster, it will trigger the Splitting Wild Respins feature. Once active, the triggering Wild will jump out of the grid, duplicate itself and trigger a Respin.

During the Respin, all Wilds from the previous spin will jump back into the grid and fix into a random position. If a Wild symbol jumps to a grid position already containing a Wild, both their Multiplier values will be added together.

Joker Split Free Spins

Landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatters in the base game triggers the Free Spins round, awarding 5, 6, or 7 Free Spins respectively.

During Free Spins, Wild symbols that are not part of a winning cluster will be stored outside the grid. During the first Respin of each free spin, all stored Wilds will become regular Wilds and jump back into the grid in random positions.

Extra Spin Bonus Buy

At the end of a Free Spins round, when the total Multiplier on stored Wilds is less than x200, you may be able to purchase an Extra Spin. This option is considered a Bonus Buy so it will be unavailable to players within the UK.

Joker Split: Our Verdict

Whilst we hold Relax Gaming quite high on our list of favourite Providers, Joker Split seems a little mild when compared to their Money Train series. With Money Train 4 on the horizon, it kind of feels like their efforts may be firmly placed on this much-anticipated release rather than Joker Split.

That being said, Joker Split has an interesting theme along with a Splitting Wild Respins feature that offers up a certain amount of entertainment and excitement. Given half the chance, Joker Split will have you grinning from ear to ear like a child in a sweet shop.

Turn that frown upside down in Free Spins, where inactive Joker Wilds are collected and stored until Respins are triggered. The 20,000x max win cap feels a little unrealistic at times, but with the help of Multipliers, it certainly seems much more achievable.
