100 Sevens – Diamond Treasures Slot Review
Lime light streaks diagonally out of every corner of the screen, giant acid-green chevrons stacked behind a flat black reel frame outlined in a thin neon tube. The best thing in 100 Sevens – Diamond Treasures isn’t the free spins at all, it’s the side bet you can switch on before a single spin, because that’s where the game’s entire 9,999x ceiling actually lives.
This is Apparat Gaming doing classic fruit-machine symbols, bells, cherries, oranges and sevens, with a modern finish, a 96.19% RTP and low-medium volatility. Wins cap at 9,999x the bet, there are 100 paylines, and stakes run from 0.50 to 1000 per spin.
What lifts it above a standard retro exercise is that optional extra, quietly holding the biggest prize in the whole build.
Base Game & Features
Underneath the neon, this is a straightforward 100-payline grid. Wins land often enough to keep the balance ticking over, but they’re small until symbols start stacking across full reels, which does happen from time to time. Most of the time you’re waiting for stars to drop or, with the side bet on, for diamonds to fill the chest.
The Diamond Wild replaces everything except the Scatter and only appears on reels two, three, four and five. The Star Scatter is evaluated in every position rather than along paylines, with Scatter wins added to payline wins, though only the highest Scatter win pays.
Stacked symbols are where the money is. A single stacked premium across multiple reels can connect dozens of the 100 fixed paylines at once, which is what turns a steady dribble into a proper balance booster. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it’s the difference between treading water and moving forward.
Around the reels, the presentation keeps things simple. Glossy chrome symbol art, glowing green dots along the reel dividers, and an elegant lounge-style soundtrack that suits the retro-meets-neon mood. Nothing here is complicated, and that’s clearly the point.
Diamond Treasures Side Game
The side game is the interesting part of the build. Small diamonds appear randomly on the reels while the extra bet is active and are collected in a chest. Every paid spin with the feature switched on adds to the collection, and the chest can then randomly trigger a prize draw at any point.
The draw itself is a four-reel affair. Each reel shows numbers zero to nine, they spin, and the four-digit number they form is paid out as a multiple of your bet. That’s the whole mechanic, and its appeal is blunt: the reels either build a big number or they don’t, with nothing in between to manage or influence.
There are four betting levels, and they don’t just change the price:
- Level 1 adds 1.5 times the bet per spin, RTP 96.02%, top prize 1,999x
- Level 2 adds twice the bet, RTP 96.04%, a higher chance of triggering the draw
- Level 3 adds three times the bet, RTP 96.10%, a higher chance again
- Level 4 adds four times the bet, RTP 96.13%, the greatest trigger chance plus extra numbers on certain reels, and access to the full 9,999x top prize
It works much like a high-level ante bet elsewhere. Even at the top level, it can eat into a balance quickly, but it’s also the only route to the game’s true maximum, so the cost buys something real.
Level one, at an extra half of your stake again, is a cheap way to keep a second feature in play.
100 Sevens – Diamond Treasures Free Spins & Bonus Features
The main event is the Free Games round, triggered by Star Scatters. The awards step up steeply, and retriggers during the round follow a slightly different ladder of their own:
- 3 Scatters trigger 10 Free Games, or 10 more during a series
- 4 Scatters trigger 15 Free Games, or 15 more during a series
- 5 Scatters trigger 100 Free Games, or 50 more during a series
Free Games are played at the triggering bet on special reel sets, different from the base game’s. The headline change during the feature: the ‘7’ symbol becomes an additional Wild alongside the standard Diamond Wild. When sevens stack in, and they can stack nicely, winning combinations start landing across more reels and more of the 100 paylines at once.
In practice the round plays very similarly to the base game, the extra wild being the one obvious difference. There’s no multiplier ladder, no accumulating meter, no pick’em interlude. The retrigger mechanic is what gives it legs, because a 10-spin start that catches Scatters twice can quietly double itself.
One thing worth knowing: the jump from 15 to 100 Free Games is enormous, and a hundred spins at this pace could turn into a long sit. The extra wilds give every one of those spins more ways to connect, so the ceiling rises with the count, but the round asks for a serious time commitment in return.
Buy Feature
The Free Games can be bought directly from the base game via the Buy Feature button, at three tiers:
- 10 Free Games (3 Scatters) for 35 times the bet, RTP 96.41%
- 15 Free Games (4 Scatters) for 60 times the bet, RTP 96.44%
- 100 Free Games (5 Scatters) for 540 times the bet, RTP 96.44%
All three buys run at a slightly higher RTP than the base game’s 96.19%. The 540-times ask for the full hundred spins is a serious commitment. It’s the only way to guarantee seeing that round at all, and the RTP edge is identical to the cheaper 15-spin tier.
Our Honest Verdict
An hour with 100 Sevens – Diamond Treasures feels like an evening at a very well-kept old arcade: small wins ticking in, chrome symbols gleaming, and a lounge record humming underneath. You’d choose it for exactly that mood, not for fireworks.
The side game is what makes it worth a look. Four levels, a real decision about cost and trigger chance, and the only path to the 9,999x top prize, that’s genuine design thought in a genre that usually skips it. The free games round is the letdown: one extra wild and nothing else, and the hundred-spin tier would feel like a very long sit by spin sixty.
If you love classic fruit machines with a bit of neon polish and don’t need complexity, this is a lovely example. If you want depth, layered features or real volatility, it’ll leave you hungry. For the traditionalists, the neon lights are glowing.
