Action Boost Max Loot Slot Review
Action Boost Max Loot is the newest entry in SpinPlay Games‘ Action Boost series, following Action Boost Amber Island 2 and Action Boost Christmas.
The maths sits at 96.49% RTP with medium-high volatility, on a 5×4 grid with 20 paylines in the base game and a hit frequency of 33.58%.
Where the missing max win figure points you instead is the jackpot ladder. The theme is a heist, with banks, safes, money bags and a vault sitting in the background, slowly filling. This all tells the same story: patience, stacking, one big score at the end.

Action Boost Max Loot Base Game & Features
The base game plays out on five reels and four rows with a fixed 20 paylines, paying left to right from the first reel.
Where multiple winning combinations land on a single payline, only the highest is awarded.
Payouts are based on the initial bet, with values shown as multiples of stake:
- Bank: 0.5x for three, 1x for four, 5x for five
- Safe: 0.25x for three, 0.5x for four, 2.5x for five
- Money Bag: 0.25x for three, 0.5x for four, 2.5x for five
- Watch: 0.25x for three, 0.5x for four, 2x for five
- Ring: 0.25x for three, 0.5x for four, 2x for five
- A, K, Q, J, 10, 9: 0.1x for three, 0.25x for four, 1x for five
The Money Bill Stack is the wild, substituting for all symbols except the bonuses. Wilds can form their own winning combinations, they’re stacked on all reels, and they appear in both the base game and free spins.

Coins and the Collection System
Coins are the engine of the whole game. Each one that lands collects into the bag of the matching symbol above the reels, and the mix of coins gathered at the moment the free spins trigger decides which features you’re awarded. Green coins, purple coins and key coins each unlock a different feature.
Landing multiple coin types on a single spin stacks their features. Alongside the coins, every Gold Vault symbol collected to the background vault during the base game has a chance to trigger the Pick Feature.
Action Boost Max Loot Free Spins & Bonus Features
Four distinct features hang off the coin system, and each one changes what the free spins round actually is. Ten free spins are awarded for each coin feature triggered.
Green Coin Action Boost Max
The Green feature is the wilds round. Every Gold Coin that appears awards a bonus credit prize, an additional Action Boost Max feature, or a Green upgrade. The feature can be upgraded twice, and each upgrade adds more wilds to the reels on the following spin for the remainder of the round.
During this feature the game plays 40 lines and all reels grow to a height of six symbol positions. Any reel showing a Wild is nudged so the entire reel goes wild, with wins paid after the nudge. Expanded reels, full wild reels, doubled paylines. This is the loudest the game gets.
Purple Coin Action Boost Max
The Purple feature is the multiplier round. Gold Coins award one or two free spins, a credit prize, an additional feature, or a Purple upgrade. The active multiplier starts at 2, moves to 3 with one upgrade and 5 with two. Line wins and bonus credit prizes are multiplied; jackpots are not. The retrigger potential here is the feature’s quiet strength.
Key Coin Action Boost Max
Key coins feed the jackpot ladder. Gold Coins award credit prizes, jackpot keys, additional features, or Key upgrades that each reduce the keys needed per jackpot by one. The ladder runs:
- 7 Gold keys: MEGA jackpot
- 6 Red keys: MAXI jackpot
- 5 Purple keys: MAJOR jackpot
- 4 Blue keys: MINOR jackpot
- 3 Green keys: MINI jackpot
Collect the keys for a jackpot and that set resets, so the ladder can pay more than once in a round. When we reviewed Action Boost Amber Island 2 in August 2026, our criticism was that the top prize was something you collected rather than something you hit. The same is true here, by design, and this game makes less apology for it.

Multiple Coin Action Boost Max
When multiple coin types collect on a single base spin, the free spins run with all the triggered features at once.
The Purple multiplier applies to line wins and credit prizes but not jackpots, and any Gold Coin that awards an additional feature or upgrade during the round adds two extra spins. This is the combination the whole game is angled towards.
Pick Feature
The vault collection can also trigger a Pick Feature. Pick items reveal credit prizes, jackpots, Action Boost Max features, upgrades, or Terminate Coins, and you keep picking until three Terminate Coins appear. Credit prizes and jackpots are awarded immediately, and if any features were picked, free spins begin once the pick round concludes.
A Pick Feature autoplay button is also offered, which selects icons automatically without influencing the outcome.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.3/10
The trade here is simple: Action Boost Max Loot asks you to tolerate a genuinely dull base game, capped at 5x for a full line of its best symbol, in exchange for a bonus round with real variety. Whether that’s worth it depends entirely on how much you mind being bored between features. We’d say it mostly is, because the payoff is unusually well built.
The imbalance is real, though. What this game does well, it does in free spins: the Green feature’s grown reels and full wild nudges, the Purple ladder from 2x to 5x, the resettable jackpot keys. What it does badly is everything outside them. The base game is filler by any measure, and the paytable gives you no reason to watch the reels at all.
It suits patient players who like systems that stack, and jackpot hunters happy to collect rather than hit. It does not suit anyone chasing a headline multiplier, and SpinPlay never pretend otherwise.
