Bang Bang Reloaded

Bang Bang Reloaded Slot Review

A stag head on panelled wood, a staircase curving up into the gloom, gold coins spilling out of a chest at the edge of the screen: Bang Bang Reloaded dresses like a shootout slot, but it isn’t one. It’s a game that pays twice for the same work, running all 40 of its paylines in both directions on every single spin, and that flat generosity matters more here than any single bonus could.

It’s a Booming Games build on a 5×4 grid at 95.7% RTP, sitting alongside Blazing Bullets Hold and Win, Boomstick Blast: Link and Loot and Mr. Oinkster’s Hold & Win 10,000 on the same saloon-studio shelf. The free spins round triples every step of the multiplier ladder, which tells you where this game keeps its real cash.

Base Game & Features

Perma 2-Way Pay

All 40 paylines are fixed and can’t be changed, and every one of them pays from left to right and from right to left. That’s the “Perma” part: it isn’t a feature you trigger, it’s simply how the game works on every spin. There’s no need to land symbols starting at reel one, which quietly changes what a near miss looks like.

The practical effect is on symbol placement. A combination sitting on the middle three reels is a paying line twice over, once read each way, and a five-of-a-kind pays once from the left and once from the right if the symbols line up on both reads. Symbols that would be dead weight on the outer reels of a one-way game have somewhere to be here.

Cascading Reels

Any payline win removes the winning symbols, and the remaining symbols fall to the bottom of the grid while new ones fill the empty positions. A cascade that produces another win raises the multiplier again, and the chain continues until no winning combinations land. Each new win in a chain pays at the next multiplier step.

The multipliers run on two separate ladders, one for each part of the game:

• Base game cascade multipliers: 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x
• Free Spins cascade multipliers: 3x, 6x, 9x, 15x
• Multiplier applies to all wins except scatter payouts
• Multiplier resets when no winning combinations land

The scatter is excluded from all of it, which keeps the scatter awards flat regardless of how hot the chain around them has run. A long chain, in other words, is worth exactly as much as its last link pays and no more, once the scatter money is settled separately.

Wilds

The Wild substitutes for all symbols except the scatters and can land on reels 2, 3 and 4. It also feeds the Big Shot Wheel: wilds collected during a spin are what push that feature towards triggering, so a wild is doing two jobs at once. On a grid where the middle three reels are already the busiest paying zone, that’s a lot of weight on three reels.

Big Shot Wheel

The wheel sits behind the rest of the game rather than in front of it. The rules that govern it:

• Collecting Wilds during a spin increases the chance of triggering the wheel
• Each Wild collected raises the chance, up to a maximum of 100%
• Only wilds collected on the current spin count
• The wheel can only trigger once the cascades feature is complete
• It awards a single prize: Minor, Major or Grand
• Prizes are multiplied by the total bet
• It’s available in the base game and in Free Spins
• It cannot trigger when three Scatter symbols are on the reels

That last rule is the interesting one. The scatter route and the wild route to a big win are mutually exclusive on any given spin: three scatters on the grid means the wheel stays closed, however many wilds you’ve collected. A spin has to pick its horse before the reels stop.

The maximum win is capped at 5,200x your stake, though there’s no published value for the Minor, Major or Grand tiers. What the ladder is worth at each step is left to be discovered rather than announced.

Bang Bang Reloaded Free Spins & Bonus Features

Free Spins

Three Scatter symbols award 10 free spins. The round keeps the 40 fixed paylines and the two-way paying, but the multiplier ladder gets a serious upgrade: it starts higher and climbs further with each cascade, resetting only when a cascade chain ends without a win.

Retriggers work on a specific pattern. Three Scatters landing on reels 1, 3 and 5 during the round award an additional five free spins, so the middle reels going quiet is the thing to watch. A long chain of cascades inside the round, with paylines running both directions, is what the whole game is angled towards.

The gap between the two ladders is the clearest signal in the game about where the money is designed to move. Every step of the free spins ladder pays three times what its base game counterpart does, on the same grid and the same paylines. The round doesn’t change the game’s shape; it changes what that shape is worth.

Bonus Buy

There’s a buy option, and it’s a single flat price with no tiered menu:

• Free Spins: 70x your bet

That’s the only purchase on offer, so the Big Shot Wheel can’t be bought and has to be earned through wild collection. Seventy times the bet is a mid-range price for a 10-spin round, and the raised starting multiplier is what you’re paying for over the base game’s floor. What the buy doesn’t change is the retrigger rule: the extra spins still need three Scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5, exactly as in the organic round.

Our Honest Verdict

Overall Rating: 7.1/10

Playing Bang Bang Reloaded feels less like a gunfight and more like racking the chest of coins open one handful at a time. Sessions move in small wins that read both ways, chains that build quietly, and the occasional hope that the middle reels hold together long enough for something bigger. The reason to sit down at this saloon rather than the one next door is that permanent two-way paying: it makes the base game busier and more honest than most 40-liners bother to be.

Its strength is the free spins ladder tripling every multiplier step, which rewards the patience the base game asks for. Its weakness is the Big Shot Wheel: nobody publishes what it’s worth or how likely it is, and it locks itself whenever the scatters show up, so it’s a feature you chase blind.

This one’s for players who enjoy the slow build of a cascade chain and don’t need a number to aim at. Anyone who wants a jackpot figure on the box will walk out of this saloon disappointed; everyone else can settle in with the stag head and let the chains run.
