Every wild fisherman that lands collects all the money values from the fish on screen. The twist is that blue and red wild fishermen are collected on separate meters, and each meter climbs independently.
Every fourth wild fisherman of either colour retriggers the feature with 10 more free spins and raises that colour’s collection multiplier:
- Second level: 2x multiplier on that colour’s collections
- Third level: 3x multiplier
- Fourth level: 10x multiplier
- After the fourth level, that meter can’t retrigger again
So a blue fisherman collecting at 10x while the red meter sits at 2x is entirely possible. The two-colour system is the cleverest thing here, because it gives one round two separate stories.
Dynamite, Hook and Bazooka Features
Three random modifiers can rescue a dead free spin. When fishermen are on screen but no fish, the dynamite feature can drop fish money symbols into random positions at the end of the spin.
The reverse case gets the hook feature: fish on screen, no fisherman, and a hook pulls a random reel up to bring fishermen into view.
When fishermen are present but no fish, a bazooka can also appear, changing every symbol on screen to something else except the fishermen, with special reels in play during the blast.

Fishing slots aren’t going anywhere – players are still biting, and as long as that’s the case, Reel Kingdom and Pragmatic Play will keep casting out another Big Bass. The problem is that, beneath the water’s surface, there’s not an awful lot of innovation left.
As the child of Big Bass Vegas Double Down Deluxe, Big Bass Vegas 1000 feels more like a reskin than a new catch.
The duo fishermen and split-meter system gives the bonus a little extra something, with the two sides able to build independently and keep the action alive for longer, but it doesn’t fundamentally change the formula we’ve seen time and time again.
The Vegas setting looks the part, the fishing mechanics are nice and familiar, but between bonuses, there’s plenty of waiting around for scatters to land naturally, and if you’ve played your fair share of Big Bass titles, there’s little here to make you sit up and take notice, aside from the cosmetic changes and boosted max win figure.
Fishing fans will probably have fun casting out another line, but this one may leave you fishing for something a little more.
