Due to the Push Ways mechanic, this game grants players double the chance of hitting individual Jackpots, Prizes, and winning symbols. Push Gaming has also included special Hot Zones with big potential, alongside the return of Orca symbols and Multipliers.

Base Game & Features
Considered a low volatility slot, Big Bite Push Ways is a 6-reel Video Slot with up to 262,144 ways to win and varying row positions. Other attributes include an overall RTP of 96.27% and a max win cap of 4,941x your bet.
Wins occur when 2-6 matching symbols appear from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. Each symbol win is fitted with a payout between 0.1x and 2x your bet. Wild symbols substitute for all symbols except Fish, Jackpot, Orca, and Scatter symbols.
Each winning combination is subject to removal through an Avalanche Feature. Once removed, new symbols will drop from above to fill all empty positions across the reels. This enables consecutive wins to occur within the same spin.
Fish & Orca Symbols
Special Fish symbols appear on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5, displaying a random Cash Prize between 1x and 100x your bet. Fish symbols are available during the base game and Free Spins round.
When an Orca symbol hits on reels 1 or 6, it will collect the values of all Fish and Jackpot Prizes in view. The orca symbol reveals a random Multiplier between x1 and x10 which is applied to all Cash Prizes it collects. If 2 Orca symbols land in view, they will each collect the values of all Fish and Jackpot Prizes in view, individually.
Jackpot Prizes
Above the main reel set is a row of 5 Jackpot Prizes, appearing only on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5 in the base game. The 5 Jackpot Prizes available are as follows:
- Mini: 10x your bet
- Minor: 25x your bet
- Major: 100x your bet
- Mega: 500x your bet
- Grand: 2,000x your bet
Jackpot Prizes are collected in the same manner as Fish symbols when an Orca symbol appears on reels 1 and/or 6. Once collected, the respective Jackpot Prize is awarded.
Hot Zone
Hot Zones are marked positions that appear anywhere on the reels, presenting in Stacks of 4. When symbols spin beneath a Hot Zone, they are split into two. Individual symbols that land in Hot Zones will remain split in their current position. As symbols are split, the number of ways expands, to a maximum of 262,144.
As the reels spin, the Hot Zones will nudge down by 1 position. Wins awarded through hot zones are paid and removed via the Avalanche Feature, introducing new symbols from above. All paytable symbols, including Fish, Jackpot, Orca, and Scatter symbols, can be split within a Hot Zone.

Our Verdict
In Big Bite Push Ways, Push Gaming has made many significant alterations to gameplay, while keeping the underwater theme, distinguishing artistry, and pleasing aesthetics intact. The welcoming addition of the Push Ways mechanic creates a refreshing atmosphere and the promise of substantial ways to win.
The decline in Jackpot and Fish values compared to the original is somewhat disappointing, yet comes as no surprise given the switch from 10 pay lines to a maximum of 262,144 ways to win. The Push Bet and Bonus Buy options are consistent, only with fewer choices to be had here.
This may be due to how the Free Spins round is triggered and how many Scatters can be achieved. Thanks to the Push Ways mechanic, Scatter symbols can be split into two, similar to the Gigablox mechanic. This means that up to 12 Scatters can be awarded in a single spin. Naturally, the more Scatters you land, the higher the starting Free Spins and Orca Multiplier.
All in all, Big Bite Push Ways has enough bells and whistles that make it distinguishable from the original, while keeping the best elements of Big Bite alive and kicking.
