Base Game & Features
Blast the Bass is a highly volatile 5-reel, 4-row Video Slot with 20 fixed pay lines and a variety of bet sizes between £.€0.20 and £.€25 per spin. Other game attributes include an overall RTP of 96.72% and a max win cap of 5,000x your bet.
Wins are calculated when 3, 4, or 5 matching symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. The low-paying symbols consist of card suits (A-J) and the 6 High-paying symbols fall to Fishing icons. Fisherman Wilds replace all paytable symbols in a win.
Fisherman Wilds & Fish Symbols
When a Fisherman Wild appears in view, it will collect the values of all Fish (credit) symbols on the reels. The combined Fish Prizes are added to the Fisherman Wild and applied to your balance. Multiple Fisherman Wilds will collect Fish Prizes at the same time.
If a Fisherman Wild comes in contact with Fish Coins, the value of each coin is added together and applied to your balance, multiplied by your current bet. In Free Spins, the dropped Fisherman Wild will fill the panel above the main reel set, activating Boosters.
Fish symbols appear on the reels with a random value between 2x and 1,000x your bet. Occasionally, the Fisherman Wild can throw Dynamite onto the reels. This causes the Fish Rain Feature to trigger, whereby a number of Fish symbols fall onto the reels.
Fish Coins
Fish Coin symbols appear in view with a starting value of 10x your bet. Each time a Fish Coin symbol moves downwards, its value increases to 20x, 50x, or 100x your bet.
In the base game, Fish Coins always move to the bottom row and increase their values depending on how many positions they move. If a Fish Coin shifts by 1, 2, or 3 positions, its value becomes 20x, 50x, and 100x your bet respectively. In Free Spins, Fish Coin symbols move down 1 position and change their value to the next available.
The value of all Fish Coins can only be attained by the Fisherman Wild symbol. If 1 or more Fisherman Wild appears in the same spin, the values of all Fish Coins are awarded after a shift has occurred, multiplied by your current bet. After reaching the bottom reel position, all Fish Coins are removed.

Free Spins

Our Verdict
Blast the Bass from Belatra Games has many similarities and characteristics to that of Reel Kingdom‘s Big Bass series. Given the success and popularity that surrounds the Big Bass series, it’s no surprise that software providers have taken a leaf out of their book, so to speak.
Even with many similarities, Blast the Bass does facilitate several unique elements. In the base game, the Fisherman Wild is present and can reel in the values of all Fish and Fish Coin symbols. This particular aspect of gameplay is something you won’t find in a Big Bass title, only limited to the Free Spins round.
Another key element in Blast the Bass is the increasing value of Fish Coin symbols. These symbols begin at a generous 10x your bet, but with each movement, can progress to 20x, 50x, and 100x your bet. The higher the position of the Fish Coin symbol, the bigger the value becomes.
