Blazin’ Guns Slot Review
The sun is going down over a frontier town that has clearly spent money on its saloon. Blazin’ Guns asks something unusual of a shooter: it wants you to load the gun before you’re allowed to fire it, and nearly every symbol you land is ammunition for later rather than money now. Clapboard storefronts sit under a starry desert sky, orange mesas glow on the horizon, and the reels hang from a tooled leather banner with a copper sheriff’s star at its centre, flanked by turquoise gun barrels.
It’s the work of Crazy Tooth Studio, and it runs on a 4×5 grid with 625 ways, a 96.23% RTP and high volatility, with stakes from 0.25 to 35.00 per spin. It sits in the same stable as Tower of Ra, Lucky Clucks and Rhino Rilla Rex. The collecting here has a holster: nothing pays instantly, and everything waits to be fired.
Base Game & Features
The gameboard is four reels across five rows, and wins use ANY ADJACENT PAYS rather than fixed lines. Three or more matching symbols on adjacent reels anywhere on the board form a win, and only the highest win per way is paid. Symbols don’t need to sit on a designated line, only next to each other on a way.
Wins are multiplied by your bet multiplier, which is the credits played divided by 0.25. A 0.50 stake plays at a multiplier of 2, a 1.00 stake at 4, and so on up the scale. Payout tables always display the credit values for the multiplier you’re currently playing, so the numbers you see update as you change your bet.
The regular symbols pay only in the base game, and matching symbols must sit next to each other on a way. The wild substitutes for all paying symbols but never for scatters, and it’s a base game symbol too. Winning combinations are highlighted on the reels when they land; if nothing lines up, the round is simply over.
BIG BuildUp Symbols
The engine underneath everything is a set of passive symbols that don’t pay on their own. Each one nudges a counter that matters later:
- Multiplier Bullet – adds an extra Multiplier Bullet to your collected stash
- Bullet Upgrade – increases a collected bullet’s multiplier value by 1
- SILVER Coin – increments the SILVER Prize
- GOLD Coin – increments the GOLD Prize
Those prizes and bullets don’t vanish between spins. They sit and grow until something triggers and spends them, which is what gives the base game its forward motion. Every coin nudges a running total rather than paying out, so a spin that looks like a dud can still have moved two counters in your favour.
The Trigger Symbols
Four non-paying symbols decide which feature fires, and each is confined to specific reels:
- Scatter – reels 1 and 4 only
- Target – reels 2 and 3 only
- SILVER Vault and GOLD Vault – reel 1 only
- Dynamite – reel 4 only
Every feature in the game is a specific pairing of these. The reel restrictions are worth knowing, because they shape which combinations are even possible on a given board.
Controls
On the practical side, Blazin’ Guns offers Quickspin for faster spin resolution, autoplay with configurable spin, win and loss limits, and a left-handed mode that flips the layout. None of these change results; they just change the pace. Background motion and tutorial messages can both be switched off if the frontier gets too lively.
Blazin’ Guns Bonus Features
Quickdraw Feature
Land at least one Target symbol together with a single Scatter and the Quickdraw fires. For each Target on the board, one of your collected bullets is chosen, and the Target’s value is multiplied by that bullet’s multiplier. The feature runs until there are no Target symbols left to multiply.
The feature’s bet multiplier is set by the spin that triggered it, and credit awards are multiplied by that figure. Everything the Quickdraw pays is added to regular wins. It’s the feature that rewards hoarding: bullets collected passively over previous spins are what turn a modest Target into something worthwhile, and a fat stash turns multiple Targets into a very good spin indeed.
Vault Feature
The Vault Feature needs a Vault symbol and a Dynamite symbol on the same spin. A SILVER Vault with Dynamite pays the SILVER Prize; a GOLD Vault with Dynamite pays the GOLD Prize. Both prizes are the running totals built by the coin symbols, coin by coin, spin by spin.
Once the prize is paid, the feature ends there and the corresponding total starts again from scratch. The bet multiplier is the one in play on the triggering spin, and feature wins are added to regular wins. Because both vault symbols live on reel 1 and the Dynamite lives on reel 4, the pairing is an all-or-nothing alignment across the width of the board.
Blazin’ Guns Bonus
The headline round triggers with two Scatter symbols, and it’s a shooting gallery. You’re given six bonus bullets, each starting at a multiplier value of 2, and the gameboard fills with ten bonus targets. A target is either a credit value or a Bullet Upgrade.
The bonus runs three rounds, and each round all six bullets are fired at the targets:
- A Credit Value hit pays that value multiplied by the firing bullet’s multiplier
- A Bullet Upgrade hit raises the bullet multiplier by the upgrade’s value, and the target converts to the default credit value multiplied by the upgraded bullet’s multiplier
- Every target that’s been hit becomes activated
- After three rounds, all activated targets are awarded
Upgrades early in the round matter most: a multiplier raised in round one is applied by every bullet that hits afterwards, and each round fires the full six again. The stated win-up-to figures are achieved from the cumulative winnings of an entire bonus rather than a single target, so the total is what counts.
The bonus doesn’t retrigger. It ends after all activated targets have been collected, the bonus bet multiplier is the one in play on the triggering spin, and bonus wins are added to regular wins.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.8/10
This is a slow burn in a town built for slow burns. You spend most of your time loading: coins ticking the prizes up, bullets stacking in the stash, the sheriff’s star watching over it all. The one reason to pick it is that the stash is genuinely yours, carried spin to spin, so even dull stretches are quietly arming you. The shooting-gallery bonus is the best thing here, because upgrade timing across three rounds means an early hit changes everything that follows.
The problem is the triggers. Scatters sit on the outer reels only, vaults and dynamite need a perfect match across the whole board, and a build can outlast your patience before anything fires. The maximum win is 6,729x your stake.
It’s a fit for players who enjoy the collecting as much as the cash-in, and who’d rather a spin mean something later than now. Anyone chasing fast swings and frequent bonuses will find this frontier quiet. For the patient type, the pieces feed each other beautifully, and that last ride out of town with a full holster is worth the wait.
