Bison once crossed the American plains in columns so wide that a single herd could take days to pass. Blazing Bison UNLEASHED, from Fortune Factory Studios, gives the animal enough room on the reels to live up to that.
It runs across a 5×4 grid with 1,024 ways to win, at 96.1% RTP and very high volatility, with four jackpot tiers hanging off the bonus round rather than the base game.
The studio’s earlier Blazing Bison Gold Ultimate Double X put the same animal inside a Gold Blitz frame. This one swaps that out for a collect meter and a wheel that decides how the bonus round is going to look before a single spin of it runs.
Anyone who’s played Gold Blitz Express or Mask of Amun Gold Blitz Ultimate will recognise the house habit of hanging a jackpot ladder off a collect meter. The question is whether the bison earns its own game.
Base Game & Features
Five reels, four rows and 1,024 ways, with the ways count printed on the frame so there’s no ambiguity about what you’re paying for.
The symbol set is straight frontier stock: a horseshoe, a revolver cylinder, dice, a bell and a scenic plains symbol above the usual playing card ranks, with a jackpot coin that only matters later. The bison sits above all of it.
Full Reel Symbol Multipliers
The headline mechanic is a bison symbol that lands filling an entire reel, and it never arrives empty handed. Every full reel bison carries a multiplier, and the size of it depends on where it lands.
- Reels 1 and 2: a random 5x to 8x
- Reel 3: a random 5x to 7x
- Reels 4 and 5: a random 4x to 6x
Land two or more on adjacent reels and the multipliers compound rather than sitting side by side. The linked reels then count as a single symbol when the ways are worked out, which is the part worth understanding: a wall of bison isn’t several separate wins, it’s one much larger one.
Bonus Collect Meter
Bonus symbols landing on the base game reels don’t trigger anything by themselves. Each one carries somewhere between one and six tokens, and those tokens collect into a meter.
Fill the meter and the Bonus Wheel opens. Once the round is over and the base game returns, the meter doesn’t reset to nothing: it comes back randomly at 10%, 15% or 20% full, so you’re never starting the climb from scratch.
Win Booster
Win Booster is an optional extra you pay for on top of your stake, and it does two things: it doubles how often the Bonus Spins feature triggers, and it increases how often wins land with bison symbols involved.
What it doesn’t do is change the maths of what you win. Way wins, symbol pays and jackpot values are all untouched by it. It’s also switched off above a certain bet size, so it isn’t something you can stack on top of a maximum stake.
Blazing Bison UNLEASHED Bonus Spins
Filling the collect meter opens the Bonus Wheel, and the wheel is what decides the quality of the round. It sets the number of bonus spins and how heavily the reels are loaded before they start turning.
Segments on the wheel include spin counts of eight and 12 alongside larger plus values of +10, +50 and +200, so two players filling the same meter can walk into very different rounds.
Whatever the wheel lands on, the bonus reels are rebuilt before the first spin. Extra bison symbols are added across all five reels, extra expanding wilds are added to reels 2, 3 and 4, and somewhere between 10 and 50 extra expanding wild symbols go into the set. Your stake is locked to whatever the triggering spin was played at.
Expanding Wild Symbols
Expanding wilds that land during the bonus don’t just stretch, they become full reel symbols in their own right. Land one next to a full reel bison and the two merge, with the wild transforming into a bison as well.
The compounding rule from the base game still applies, so adjacent full reel multipliers multiply together. That’s the engine of the whole feature: the more of the grid that converts to bison, the more the multipliers fold into one another.
Retriggers
A second meter runs during the bonus and only during the bonus. It starts 10% full, and retrigger symbols carry one to six tokens each in the same way bonus symbols do in the base game.
Fill it and five extra spins are awarded automatically, with the meter resetting afterwards so it can be filled again.
Jackpots
There are four jackpot tiers, named MEGA, MAJOR, MINOR and MINI, and they’re reachable only inside the Bonus Spins feature. Jackpot symbols can land on any of the five reels while it runs.
Each one that lands fills one of four meter slots at random, and completing the set pays out that jackpot before the slots reset. The values themselves scale with your bet, so they’re worth more at higher stakes rather than being a fixed pot.
Bonus Buy
A Bonus Buy control sits in the top right of the interface, next to the Win Booster toggle. One is a paid route into the bonus round and the other a paid route to reaching it more often, and they’re separate purchases.

The base game hangs on a single event. A bison fills a reel, drags a multiplier of up to 8x onto the screen with it, and if a second lands alongside, the two compound and count as one symbol across all 1,024 ways. Nothing else on those reels comes close, and at very high volatility that’s the entire proposition.
The bonus is the better half. A collect meter makes the trigger something you can see coming instead of a scatter coincidence, and the wheel sets the shape of the round before it starts. Then the expanding wilds keep converting into bison and folding their multipliers together while a retrigger meter refills underneath.
Three meters and a wheel is a lot of bookkeeping for one feature, and it’s also why the round holds attention. This is built for multiplier chasers rather than anyone after a steady session.
