Our Verdict
First impressions are everything in a new release, and Cash Explorer doesn’t give much away from a design point of view. Given the theme, it’s obvious we’re in for quite an adventure, but is the risk worth the reward?
Cash Explorer has subtle features, which include 2 explorer symbols, one revealing Hidden Treasures and the other activating a x3 Multiplier. Through the multiple win ways, Hidden Treasure Icons are revealed frequently, yet they require a Discoverer symbol to reward prizes between 1x and 50x your bet.
Hidden treasure prizes leave little to be desired, however, combining them with a x3 Multiplier is a much more appealing concept – that’s if you can land the two explorer symbols in the same spin. Given the games’ max win potential of 14,597x, it’s hard to comprehend how such a figure is achievable, especially given the limitations in multiplier and hidden treasure values.
In Free Spins, 1 Discoverer symbol is always present in the middle row of reel 3. This guarantees all hidden treasures and their values are awarded throughout the round. Cash Explorer takes a little getting used to, and will largely appeal to players who appreciate subtle features and mechanics.
