Coinburst Sevens Slot Review
Lightning arcs up both sides of a gold-bevelled cabinet, a red-and-gold 777 crest perches on top, and gold is piled high around its base: Coinburst Sevens is a fruit machine dressed for an electric storm. Evoplay have built a sevens game where the reels barely matter – the fruit tops out at 16x, and nearly everything worth winning sits on three special symbols that don’t pay at all until the bonus round takes over.
It runs on a 3×3 grid with 5 fixed paylines, an RTP of 95.95% in normal mode, and stakes from 0.10 to 20,000.00. Four fixed jackpots, topped by a 1,000x Grand, wait inside the bonus round rather than on the reels.
It’s familiar ground for the studio: Hot Triple Sevens, Piggy Bank: Coinstorm and Fruit Fusion: Three Pots cover similar territory. Everything that matters here happens away from the fruit.
Sevens, Bells and the 3×3 Grid
Eight regular symbols fill the reels, all of them classic-machine stock. Wins read left to right across the 5 fixed paylines, and simultaneous wins on different lines add together. Simple stuff, and deliberately so. The paytable:
- Wild (777): 3 pays 50x the bet
- Bells: 3 pays 30x the bet
- BAR: 3 pays 20x the bet
- Grapes or Watermelon: 3 pays 16x the bet
- Lemon, Orange or Plums: 3 pays 4x the bet
- Cherries: 3 pays 1x the bet
The Wild lands on all reels in the main game and substitutes for every regular symbol except the Coin and the Bonus Collector. A full line of three Wilds pays as the table’s top prize at 50x. With only three reels in play that line is a rare sight, but it’s the richest single combination the base game offers.
Two more symbols matter more than any of the fruit. Coins land only on reels 1 and 3, and each carries a random value of 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 7x or 10x the bet, or one of the four fixed jackpot labels. In the main game those values sit unused: Coin rewards are only paid during the Bonus game.
The Bonus Collector lands only on reel 2, never more than one per spin, and has no value of its own. It’s half the trigger for the bonus round, and the reason a single reel 2 symbol can matter so much.
777’s Power and Coin Rush
777’s Power is the main game’s payout engine for those idle Coins. It activates when a Bonus Collector lands on reel 2 alongside one or more Coins on reel 1 or reel 3, and the Collector gathers every landed Coin value, jackpots included, paying the total as a win for that spin. It doesn’t fire when Bonus symbols sit on all three reels at once, because that combination belongs to the bigger prize.
Coin Rush is the wildcard. On any non-winning main-game spin where at least one Coin has landed, it can kick in unprompted, transforming regular symbols into Bonus symbols to guarantee a Coin on reel 1, a Bonus Collector on reel 2 and a Coin on reel 3. With a Collector already in place, it only needs to add the missing Coins.
It’s a rescue mechanic, and on a 3×3 grid it converts dead spins into bonus triggers.
The Bonus Game
The Bonus game triggers when there’s at least one Bonus symbol on each reel: a Coin on reel 1, a Bonus Collector on reel 2 and a Coin on reel 3. Regular symbols then disappear, the triggering symbols stay put, and the reels contain nothing but Coins, Bonus Collectors and empty positions for the rest of the round. The triggering bet carries through unchanged.
It starts with three spins, and every new Bonus symbol that lands resets the count back to three, capped there. A spin can come up empty. The initial Coin values fly into the Collector, and from then on each new Coin value is collected by every Bonus Collector on the reels.
Extra Collectors can drop into empty positions on reel 2 and stay until the round ends, each one gathering every Coin value and multiplying the take. When the spins run out, all Collectors’ accumulated values combine into the final win.
Four fixed jackpots can only be won inside this round, awarded when their corresponding Coin lands:
- Grand: 1,000x the bet
- Major: 100x the bet
- Minor: 35x the bet
- Mini: 20x the bet
Multiple jackpots of the same type can land in one round, and all four types can be won together.
Bonus Buy
Both versions of the bonus round can be bought outright. The standard Bonus Game costs 52x the total bet and starts with at least one Bonus Collector and two to six Coin symbols, which can carry any of the random values including jackpot labels. It runs at 96.07% RTP.
The Super Bonus Game costs 92x the total bet and starts with all three Bonus Collectors already on reel 2 plus two to six Coins, at 96.12% RTP. Both buys use the bet that triggered them, and the buy button can be disabled where the operator chooses.
The premium on the Super version buys certainty: every Coin that lands is counted by all three Collectors from the first spin, with nothing left to wait on.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 6.9/10
Playing Coinburst Sevens is mostly waiting under a storm-lit cabinet: the fruit pays peanuts, and the spins that matter are the ones fishing Coins and a Collector onto three specific reels. The reason to sit through that is the bonus round, and it’s a good one – the capped spin counter keeps every round tense, extra Collectors can turn one long round into several pays, and Coin Rush means even a dead spin can end in fireworks.
The weakness is the top jackpot. A 1,000x Grand won’t turn the head of anyone who plays for big numbers, and the buys are priced like the round pays more than it does.
It’s a fit for players who enjoy the collect-and-hold format on a small, fast grid, and for lapsed fruit-machine players who want one modern idea bolted onto the old shape. Chase-the-maximum players will find the storm brighter than the prizes.
Coinburst Sevens FAQs
-
How do you trigger the Bonus game in Coinburst Sevens?
You need at least one Bonus symbol on each reel at the same time: a Coin on reel 1, a Bonus Collector on reel 2 and a Coin on reel 3. Landing Bonus symbols on all three reels simultaneously always takes priority over 777’s Power. -
How does 777’s Power work?
When a Bonus Collector lands on reel 2 together with one or more Coin symbols on reel 1 or reel 3, the Collector adds up all the landed Coin values, including any jackpot Coins, and pays the total as a win for that spin. It doesn’t activate if Bonus symbols are on all three reels, as that triggers the Bonus game instead. -
What is the Coin Rush random event?
Coin Rush can activate on any non-winning main-game spin where at least one Coin symbol has landed. It transforms regular symbols into Bonus symbols as needed to guarantee a Coin on reel 1, a Bonus Collector on reel 2 and a Coin on reel 3, which triggers the Bonus game. If a Collector is already on reel 2, only the missing Coins are added. -
Can you win more than one jackpot in a bonus round?
Yes. Multiple jackpots of the same type can be won in a single Bonus game, and all four types can land in one round. The jackpots are fixed at 1,000x (Grand), 100x (Major), 35x (Minor) and 20x (Mini) the bet, and can only be won during the Bonus game. -
What is the RTP of Coinburst Sevens?
The RTP is 95.95% in normal mode. The Bonus Buy versions run slightly higher: 96.07% for the bought Bonus game and 96.12% for the bought Super Bonus game. -
What are the minimum and maximum bets?
Stakes run from 0.10 to 20,000.00 per spin, an unusually wide range for a three-reel game. -
When is Coinburst Sevens released?
Coinburst Sevens’ release date is 22 October 2026. -
Who makes Coinburst Sevens?
Evoplay. The game joins a run in their catalogue that includes Hot Triple Sevens, Piggy Bank: Coinstorm and Fruit Fusion: Three Pots.
