Divine Divas Slot Review
Play’n GO‘s Divine Divas takes us to a land that regular slot players know well – the land of the gods. The clean white slate and marble is a sight seldom seen in the real world where columns stand cracked and decayed, but it comes to life in Play’n GO’s adventure in the clouds.
Divine Divas looks attractive, as does the lovely ladies it features, but is it filled with enough depth when it comes to features to stand out?
Base Game and Bonus Features
Divine Divas is a five-reel, five-row highly volatile cascading slot with a maximum win potential of 5,000 times the bet.
A single spin can cost as little as £/€0.10, or as much as £100, depending on your preferred betting stake.
Play ‘n Go likes to offer its players options when it comes to play slots. They often release multiple versions of the same game. The editions of Divine Divas have RTPs of 96.25%, 94.25%, 91.25%, 87.25%, and 84.25%.
Due to Divine Divas being a cascading slot, there are no paylines. Therefore, land six matching symbols anywhere on the grid to win. Once a win gets paid, the triggering symbols get removed and replaced, which can create further winning combinations.
The low-paying symbols are hexagons, clubs, spades, hearts and diamonds. A winning combination of low-paying symbols is worth up to 20 times the bet.
Divine Divas has three high-paying symbols – Aphrodite, Hera, and Athena. A winning combination can be worth a minimum of 0.4 times the bet. However, a 14+ winning combination can reward 100 times the bet.
Tri-Symbols
When tri-symbols land on the same spin as high-paying symbols, they act as wild symbols.
When a tri-symbol is part of a win, it gets highlighted with the colour of the high-paying symbols that used it to form a winning combination. For every colour that uses the tri-symbols, you progress along the quest. Once you have achieved all three colours, you have completed the quest.
As a reward for completing the quest during the base game, you will receive a win worth between one and five times your bet.
Mystery Symbols
Mystery symbols can land on any spin, apart from a cascading spin after a win. Once triggered, a minimum of five mystery symbols will land.
Once they land, they disappear and reveal any high-paying symbol or tri-symbol. They can become the missing piece that helps form a winning combination.
Free Spins
As always, scatter symbols are your key to triggering the free spins round. By landing three scatter symbols simultaneously, you get the choice of three options
Aphrodite – Triggers six free spins that guarantee to land mystery symbols. High-paying symbols revealed by mystery symbols can transform into golden versions of themselves and gain a two, three, or five times multiplier.
Hera – Rewards 12 free spins that have a chance of landing mystery symbols that reveal high-paying symbols. However, they can only gain a five times multiplier.
Athena – Gives sixteen free spins that all have a chance of revealing high-reward symbols with a multiplier worth two, three, or five times.
During free spins, mystery symbols can reveal tri-symbols and improved versions of the high-paying symbols found in the base game. The tri-symbols that land during this round reward wins between one and five times the bet, as well as an additional free spin.

Our Verdict
On top of having a popular theme that grabs our attention, Divine Divas has many impressive aspects. One of our favourites was tri-symbols and mystery symbols. Both symbols help create a new in-game feel. They also help move the game along, making each spin entertaining.
We also liked having options when triggering the free spins round, you can choose which is best. We went with Aphrodite because of the mystery symbols, but it is about personal preference. Offering three different options means those who trigger the free spins round more than once can gain a new experience, rather than one that is the same.
One aspect that could be better is the maximum win of 5,000x. Triggering regular wins is hard enough, never mind landing the maximum one. We would have liked Play ‘n Go to have been more generous when deciding on the max win cap, but it wasn’t to be.
Other than that, we enjoyed Divine Divas and can confidently say it is a solid release. It may not be the best game, but only one can be. If you are looking for a chilled and joyful slot experience, we would recommend Divine Divas
