Base Game & Features

Wins pay left to right across 1,024 ways, with matching symbols on adjacent reels from the first onwards. The Diamond is the only symbol that pays for two, which matters on a 1,024-way grid: pairs of the top symbol land far more readily than five-of-a-kinds, and at 1x they at least return the stake. The royals, by contrast, need three across and start at just 0.2x, so the bottom of the table is thin.

The Dynamite Lady is the wild, landing on reels 2, 3 and 4 only and substituting for every symbol except the Golden Nugget. She doesn’t pay on her own. Her real job is feeding the Wild Collection.

Wild Reels

Every wild that lands on reels 2, 3 or 4 is added to that reel’s collection, and each reel keeps its own count. Collect two on one reel and it turns fully wild:

• Duration – the reel stays wild for the next two spins
• Multiplier – 2x, 3x, 5x or 10x, applied to every way win completed with that Wild Reel
• Stacking – multiple Wild Reels can be active at once, and each multiplier in a winning combination is applied

A Wild Reel is treated as a single wild symbol when payouts are calculated, so it completes ways rather than multiplying the whole board. Collection state is saved per bet level, so changing your stake restores the progress held at that stake, and dropping back to an earlier stake picks up where that stake left off.

Golden Nugget Symbols

Golden Nugget symbols can land anywhere, and each one reveals a cash prize or a jackpot prize. They form their own winning combinations when they land on three or more consecutive reels starting from reel 1, and the reel they sit on sets the ceiling:

Nuggets can’t land at all while a Wild Reel is active, which keeps the two engines from stacking. Cash prizes are multiplied on the winning combination, while every jackpot value shown already carries the current Golden Nugget Multiplier.

Golden Nugget Multiplier

This is the slot’s long game. When Golden Nuggets land on both reels 1 and 2 without forming a win, the Golden Nugget Multiplier increases by 1x, climbing from 1x to a cap of 10x. It applies to winning nugget combinations and to every jackpot on the ladder, and the jackpot values shown update to match it.

Most of a session on Explosive Frenzy is spent waiting. The base game plods along on thin royal pays while the multiplier ticker does its slow climb, and you play it for exactly that: the fuse visibly burning towards a payoff that grows the longer it doesn’t arrive. If that sounds tedious rather than tense, this isn’t your mine.

At its best, though, the timing is genuinely sharp. The Explosive Bonus lands a guaranteed Big Win without resetting the multiplier, so the patient build gets its cake and keeps the recipe. The frustration is the mutual lockout: while a Wild Reel is live, nuggets can’t land and the bonus can’t fire, so the game regularly switches off its own headline act.

It’s a slot for players who enjoy a long build and a jackpot ladder they can watch inflate, not for anyone chasing quick bonus rounds, and the royals are thin enough to test casual bankrolls between meaningful hits. Come for the slow burn, and the tunnel pays out in the end.
