Base Game & Features
Gem Fire Fortune is a highly volatile 7×7 Video Slot which utilises the Cluster Pays mechanic rather than pay lines.
Wins occur when 5-13 identical symbols land horizontally or vertically adjacent on the grid, awarding fixed payouts between 0.2x and 35x your bet. The 7 available paytable symbols represent individual Gems, in colours Red, Purple, Green, Teal, Orange, Pink, and Blue.
After a winning sequence occurs, each winning symbol is removed from the grid via an Avalanche Feature. The remaining symbols drop to the bottom, while all empty positions are replaced with new symbols from above.
Random Multiplier Feature
In the base game, after every winning outcome, there is a chance to receive a random Multiplier between x2 and x100, which is applied to the winning cluster. The value of each Multiplier is displayed to the right of the grid, showing which value is assigned to each Gem symbol.

Our Honest Verdict
If you’ve been following Pragmatic Play for some time, you may be familiar with another of their releases, Gems Bonanza. When we first saw Gem Fire Fortune in all its glory, we were reminded of this fantastic hidden gem (pun intended).
After much vigorous game testing, we found no links or similarities between this game and Gems Bonanza, apart from the theme. Gems Bonanza was made as a more innovative, and dare we say, A-list sort of slot.
Gem Fire Fortune is not of the same caliber, but it was meant as a simple release, perhaps something quick and easy for Pragmatic Play.
It’s a very simple game, and one that we feel doesn’t need a lot of explanation or in-depth analysis. Do you like simple games? And if yes, do you like Cluster Pays slots? If you said yes to both, then Gem Fire Fortune would suit you fine.
If, however, you’ve got a more refined palette, then Gem Fire Fortune probably won’t impress. It has a decent max win of 15,000x the bet and a respectable 96.50% RTP, but that may not be enough to carry it.
Overall, Gem Fire Fortune isn’t a complete letdown, but something better suited to casual players.
