Invading Vegas: Las Christmas Base Game and Features
Invading Vegas: Las Christmas is a 5-reel Video Slot with 20 fixed pay lines. Winning combinations are formed when 3 or more of the same symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel.
The minimum bet available here is £.€0.10 per spin and the maximum bet available is £.€50 per spin, with plenty of other options in between the two. This game has a theoretical RTP of 96.20% and a max win cap of 2,500x.
In terms of symbols, the highest-paying regular symbol here is the Character with the Red Background, followed by Characters with the Gold, Green, Blue, and Purple Backgrounds. Low-paying symbols fall to Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, and Clubs. Wilds substitute for all other symbols except Scatters.
Mystery Symbols
During gameplay, Mystery symbols in the form of Presents can land randomly, revealing Wilds with a x2, x3, x5, or x10 Multiplier. All wins formed with these Multiplier Wilds will have their total win multiplied by the Multiplier displayed on the Wild.
Lock on Respin
The Lock on Respin feature is triggered on the middle reel when both the first and second reels reveal a full stack of the same symbol (including Wilds), but no win is formed. This feature gives players a second chance to form a winning combination and win big.
Walking Wild
When stacked Wilds land on the middle reel during a Respin, they will transform into a fully stacked Alien Wild and move one position to the right with each Respin, until it reaches the 5th and final reel.
When the Alien Wild stops, the reels will respin. With each position it moves, the Walking Wild will leave behind up to 12 Mystery symbols on the highlighted positions.
Please note, that when the Walking Wild is active, Scatter symbols cannot land.
Invading Vegas: Las Christmas Free Spins
Landing 3 Scatters on the reels in the base game triggers the Free Spins round, awarding 12 Free Spins.
During Free Spins, the reels are flipped, reversing the order of the reels for an increased chance to win big. In addition to this, the Walking Wild will move one position to the left until it reaches the leftmost reel.
Landing 3 Scatters during this time will award an additional +12 Free Spins, up to a maximum of 120 Free Spins per Free Spins round.
Invading Vegas: Las Christmas: Our Verdict
Invading Vegas: Las Christmas draws us in with its Christmassy vibes, yet does little to satisfy our tastebuds in terms of gameplay. Play’n GO has kept most of gameplay similar to the original Invading Vegas, but with an added Mystery symbols feature that may be enough to win you over…or not.
The Mystery symbols feature isn’t quite what we were expecting. Instead of a number of matching symbols dotted around the reels, Play’n GO has opted to reveal Wilds with a random Multiplier of x2, x3, x5, or x10. This is a surprising turn of events and probably the only feature that grabs our attention.
Like Invading Vegas, the reels are flipped during Free Spins, with a Walking Wild that walks from right to left instead of the other way around. It’s here that High-paying symbols seem to land stacked more often, yet it still feels like something is missing.
All in all, the Christmas theme may draw you in at first, but gameplay and the max win cap of 2,500x won’t have you sticking around for very long!
