Le Vampire Slot Review
Smokey has been through the dressing-up box again, and this time emerged with a cape, a set of fangs and the run of a gothic castle. Le Vampire is the Hacksaw Gaming Le series turned creature of the night, and it plays the theme strictly for laughs.
Bats, coffins, the odd splash of blood and the mascot’s exaggerated personality, all delivered with more ham than horror. At a glance it looks like another goofy spin-off in the Le Bandit mould. It doesn’t play like one.
The spec sheet runs a 6×5 Cluster Pays grid, medium volatility at 3/5, a 97.57% RTP on the standard build (operators can configure the game as low as 86.27%, so check the info screen) and a 15,000x ceiling. The bones come straight from Le Granny: the same Cluster Pays setup, the same marked squares and Rainbow activations, with Epic symbols, Blood Squares and a Symbol Bar layered on top.
There’s an echo of Vatica: Voice of Lost Souls in the way winning positions stay in play. Le Granny is the closest relative of the lot, and the vampire build is comfortably the more feature-heavy of the two.
Base Game & Features
Le Vampire plays out on a 6×5 grid with Cluster Pays mechanics: five or more symbols of the same kind, connected horizontally or vertically, form a win anywhere on the grid. A Wild symbol substitutes for every paying symbol. Stakes run from 0.05 to 50 per spin, and the listed hit frequency is 34.94%.

Super Cascades
Every win sets off the Super Cascades: all regular paying symbols of the type that formed the win are removed from the grid, and new symbols drop down to fill the empty spaces. Because the whole symbol type clears rather than just the winning cluster, one hit can develop through several stages as fresh symbols settle.
Golden Squares and Rainbow Symbols
Wins also leave a mark behind them. The squares behind winning symbols are highlighted as Golden Squares, and they stay highlighted until a Rainbow symbol activates them and collects what they hold. The marking runs alongside the cascades, so a busy spin can light up a fair stretch of the board.
Coins, Clovers and Collectors
When Rainbow symbols activate marked squares, the reveals break down into cash symbols and collectors:
- Bronze Coins pay 0.2x to 4x the stake
- Silver Coins pay 5x to 10x
- Gold Coins pay 20x to 50x
- Diamond Coins pay 100x to 500x
- Green Clovers multiply the values of special symbols next to them; Gold Clovers multiply qualifying values across the entire grid
- Clover multipliers run from 2x up to 20x
- The Bag of Gold collects the coin values in a 3×3 area around it
- The Pot of Gold collects across the whole grid and can trigger further Golden Square reveals
Bonus Scatters
The bonus ladder is driven by FS scatter symbols: three landing at the same time open the Coffin Break bonus, four upgrade to Love At First Bite, and five unlock the hidden Do Your Fang round. Every tier starts with 10 free spins, and the difference between them is how much of the board survives from one spin to the next.

Bonus Features & Free Spins
All three bonus rounds keep the base game mechanics and start with 10 free spins, with the Symbol Bar running alongside for extra spins. What separates the tiers is persistence: how much stays highlighted after a Rainbow has done its work.
Golden Squares, Blood Squares and Blood Rain
The two square types are worth telling apart. A standard Rainbow symbol activates Golden Squares. When an Epic symbol forms part of a win, the square behind it is highlighted as a Blood Square instead, and an Epic Rainbow can activate the entire grid and trigger Blood Rain: Blood Squares then work like Golden Squares but remove Bronze Coins from the possible reveals, lifting the minimum quality of every cash symbol.
Coffin Break Bonus
Three FS scatters trigger 10 free spins on the base game’s rules. Golden and Blood Squares remain highlighted until a Rainbow symbol activates them, and when a high-paying symbol forms part of a win, all symbols of that type upgrade to Epic symbols for the remainder of the round. The Symbol Bar adds two free spins for each level it reaches.

Love At First Bite Bonus
Four scatters keep everything Coffin Break does and add staying power: Golden and Blood Squares remain highlighted even after a Rainbow activates them, so the board can develop across spins instead of resetting. When an Epic Rainbow activates the full grid, the squares already marked beforehand are the ones that stay in play afterwards.

Do Your Fang (Hidden Epic Bonus)
Five scatters open the hidden tier. It keeps the Love At First Bite rules and guarantees a Rainbow or Epic Rainbow symbol on every spin, with a further guaranteed Epic Rainbow on the spin after the Symbol Bar reaches Level 4. Every Coin revealed during the round shows a value of at least 1x.
The Symbol Bar
The Symbol Bar sits outside the grid during the bonus games. Every symbol type upgraded to Epic advances it by one level: Levels 1 to 3 each award two additional free spins, and Level 4 adds two more plus a guaranteed Rainbow or Epic Rainbow on the next spin.
Bonus Buy and FeatureSpins
Purchases run through Hacksaw’s FeatureSpins format, where each bought spin guarantees its feature, alongside a direct route into the Coffin Break bonus. Costs span from 3x up to 250x the stake depending on the option:
- BonusHunt FeatureSpins: RTP 96.31%
- Rainbow Bite FeatureSpins: RTP 96.12%
- Rainbow Epic Drop FeatureSpins: RTP 96.36%
- Coffin Break bonus: RTP 96.25%

Rainbow Bite and Rainbow Epic Drop are the two feature-led modes, and in both of them FS symbols can’t land, keeping every bought spin on the grid’s own mechanics.

Our Honest Verdict
We give Le Vampire a rating of 7.5 out of 10. The base game pulls its weight: Super Cascades give a single cluster room to develop, and even ordinary wins mark Golden Squares, so quiet stretches weren’t dead air.
Coffin Break came first: decent without being spectacular, never building enough useful squares before the spins ran out.
Love At First Bite was where it clicked, extra persistence letting the board grow instead of resetting, and Do Your Fang was the clear premium tier.
That’s the case for three versions of one bonus: more carry-over changes how much of the board can build, and side by side they’re nothing alike.
The standout came in Do Your Fang: an Epic Rainbow unlocked most of the grid while a Clover and Pot of Gold chained through the reveals. Not close to 15,000x, but the system firing at once.
It’s a lot to hold in your head, with Golden Squares, Blood Squares, Epic upgrades, Clovers and collectors live at once; anyone after a simple slot should look elsewhere. Cluster Pays fans who like persistent grid progression will settle in quickly.
For something dressed as a joke, Le Vampire has real teeth.
