Legendary Lawman Cash ‘Em All Slot Review
Down a sunlit frontier street, past a saloon with a hand-painted sign and a bank sitting quiet in the shade, three drawstring money bags hang over the reels waiting to be filled. Legendary Lawman Cash ‘Em All hands out almost nothing for the first hour and dares you to keep spinning anyway, because the version of the game you’re playing at spin 250 is not the one you started with at spin one. Most collect-and-hold slots sell you the same machine every time you sit down; this one makes you earn a better one.
It runs on a 5×3 grid with 20 paylines, a 96.00% RTP, high volatility and a hit rate of 26.99%, with stakes from 0.20 to 25.00 a spin. The frontier is familiar ground for Just For The Win Studios: Western Gold and The Bandit and the Baron trod the same dust. Earn the badge, and the town starts paying attention.
Base Game & Features
Spins play out across five reels and three rows, with wins counted on 20 fixed paylines. Only the highest win per line pays, and simultaneous wins on different lines add together. Wild symbols substitute for everything except money, Power Up and Collect symbols, pay the best combination available, and appear in the base game only.
Three symbols pay by line, and the values are modest:
- Sheriff in the red circle: 45x for three
- Man with the hat: 5x for three
- Sheriff in the blue circle: 15x
Everything else on the reels doesn’t pay by line at all. These symbols carry values instead, as multiples of the bet, shown on the symbols themselves during the Bronze Bounty, and they’re what the Collect machinery works with:
- Cowboy face: 1x or 4x
- Boots: 2x
- Bottle: 1x or 0.5x
- Revolver: 0.5x
- Gold sheriff badge: 1.5x
Money symbols sit alongside these on every reel, in the base game and Bounty Spins alike, in three tiers:
- Bronze: 0.5x, 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x
- Silver: 6x through 15x
- Gold: 20x, 25x, 30x, 35x, 40x, 45x, 50x
Collect symbols do the cashing out. For the first 75 spins they exist on reel 5 only; after that they appear on reel 1 as well. When one lands, every money symbol in view on that spin has its value added up and paid, and if two Collects land, the total pays out twice.
Progression Meter
The meter is the game’s long game, and it advances on spin count in the base game only. Four ranks are there to earn:
- Badge of Respect at 25 spins: wilds now stack three high
- Trusted Deputy at 75 spins: Collect symbols appear on reels 1 and 5
- Sharp Shooter at 150 spins: multiplier symbols apply to the whole reel area in Bounty Spins
- Legendary Lawman at 250 spins: Collect symbols gather every value on the reels in Bounty Spins
Progress can’t be bought or rushed. It accrues spin by spin, which gives a long session a shape the paytable alone doesn’t provide. The first two ranks arrive quickly enough; the top two are a genuine commitment at 150 and 250 spins.
Power Up Symbol
The Power Up symbol lands on reel 3 in the base game, and when it does it randomly upgrades one of the three jackpot values. Each jackpot caps out and then holds at that amount until it’s won, resetting to its starting value once awarded. Because the upgrades happen in the base game and the jackpots only pay in Bounty Spins, a Power Up hit is never money in hand; it’s a larger prize waiting for the round that can deliver it.
Legendary Lawman Cash ‘Em All Bonus Features & Jackpots
Every money symbol that lands in the base game carries a chance of triggering Bounty Spins, and its colour decides the round: a gold symbol can open the Gold Bounty, where every money symbol is gold, with silver and bronze working the same way. Only one feature triggers at a time. The collection bags drawn on the cabinet are decoration, nothing more.
Bounty Spins Step by Step
The round starts with 3 spins. Money and Collect symbols hold where they land, and any money or mystery symbol resets the counter back to three. It runs until the spins are spent or every position on the reels is filled.
Mystery symbols keep the round alive. Each one reveals one of four things:
- A multiplier symbol, in x2 or x3, boosting all adjacent money and Collect values
- A Collect symbol, gathering the values around it
- A Level Up symbol, raising a Bronze Bounty to Silver or a Silver to Gold; it never appears in the Gold feature
- A money symbol, adding its value to the board and resetting the counter
Every win in the round comes from what ends up held. Money symbols contribute their values, Collect symbols gather them, and multipliers inflate the totals they touch. Once the Sharp Shooter rank is earned, multipliers stop caring about adjacency and apply across the whole reel area, and at Legendary Lawman rank a single Collect takes everything on the board.
Jackpots
Three jackpots can only be won inside Bounty Spins, paid according to how many symbols end up held:
- Mini at 10 held symbols: starts at 5x, caps at 15x
- Mega at 13 held symbols: starts at 20x, caps at 100x
- Grand at 15 held symbols: starts at 5,000x, caps at 10,000x
All prizes are collected automatically when the round ends, held symbols and jackpots together. The full board is 15 positions, so the Grand asks for a screen completely covered, with the counter reset three times along the way by whatever lands last.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.7/10
Playing this is a waiting game, and the one reason to sit through it is that the waiting itself changes the game. You’re not treading water before a bonus; you’re working your way up from a green deputy to the rank on the tin, and the Bounty Spins round you eventually get is meaningfully better than the one a newcomer earns.
The meter is the smartest thing here. Few slots reward a long session with anything more than a loyalty scheme, and here every rank lands as a real mechanical upgrade. The cost is the early street: a 45x top line pay means the base game pays like a nuisance while you grind towards the badge.
This is one for players who like watching a machine get better underneath them, with the patience to reach 250 spins in a single sitting. Anyone after instant fireworks should ride on. The sheriff’s star is only pinned on those who stayed in town long enough to earn it.
