On trigger, the grid grows to 5×4 with up to four additional rows activatable, and 3 free respins are awarded. All symbols swap for blanks. Every coin that lands is held and resets the respins to 3, and the round ends when the respins run out or every position fills.

The strength is the combination. A late-game trigger with persistent collectors, adders and multipliers all firing at once builds far past what any single card pays, and no two fully loaded rounds look the same. The weakness is that the game is at its most ordinary exactly when you first meet it: a stripped-back card set, and reels doing little more than keeping the meters fed.
It suits players who enjoy a persistent build and will happily return tomorrow for a countdown upgrade, and it isn’t for anyone who wants the finished slot on the first sitting – the earlier Links of Ra titles deliver that more directly. The tomb gives up its gold slowly, but for the patient it does give it up.
