Pray For Six Slot Review
Hell has never been short on horrors, but even the Devil himself might be outdone this time. Somewhere deep in the underworld, the nursery doors have been left wide open, and what escaped is far worse than anyone expected.
Enter the Devil’s Spawn and his Pyropup – a destructive duo tearing through the infernal realm. Wherever they go, flames rise, souls scatter, and chaos follows as they turn Hell into their own twisted playground. With the underworld in turmoil, even Balthazar & Beelzebub are no longer the biggest threats in purgatory.
After an extended run of mortality-themed slots, Hacksaw Gaming is once again leaning into its darker, creative instincts with Pray For Six. Following on from Circle of Life, Deal With Death, and Life and Death, the studio’s recent outpouring of games reads more like a philosophical reckoning than a release schedule, which at this point makes us wonder if we should be checking in on them.
Pray For Six follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, Pray For Three, once again building tension around a special Wheel Feature, where Multipliers & Cash Prizes are accumulated towards the Total Win Bar to drive larger payouts.
Pray For Six offers a max win potential of 20,000x your bet, paired with a high volatility profile and 96.35% RTP, which immediately sets the bar high. For players who enjoy the risks and the chase of rewarding payouts, Pray For Six fully embraces that mindset…

Base Game & Features
Consisting of 6 reels, 5 rows, & a Scatter Pays mechanic, winning combinations occur when a minimum of 8 matching symbols land anywhere on the reels, regardless of their current positions.
The Red Hands are the game’s highest-paying symbol, followed by the Horned Animal, Doll, Wolf, Skull, and a series of Medieval Weapons. After a spin is complete, each winning combination awards a fixed payout between 0.1x and 666x your bet.
The Avalanche Feature triggers for every winning combination revealed in a spin, meaning all winning symbols are removed from the reels, creating space for additional symbols to drop in from above. This continues until no further wins occur in the same spin.

Total Win Bar
Throughout each session, all wins are accumulated in the Total Win Bar located above the reels. Once all avalanche events have occurred, the total value within the Total Win Bar is awarded for that spin.
Wailing Wheels
During gameplay, when a 6 symbol appears in view, it will only activate if there is at least 1 winning combination on the reels. However, when a 6 symbol lands during an avalanche event, it will instantly activate.
After activation, a Wailing Wheel is triggered on the same position. The Wailing Wheel spins & lands on either a Cash Prize, Multiplier, or Max Win segment, which is instantly awarded. Cash Prizes are paid per your current bet, and are selected from Bronze, Silver, or Gold brackets.
- Bronze Prizes: 1x, 2x, 3, x4 your bet
- Silver Prizes: 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x your bet
- Gold Prizes: 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x, 333x, 500x, 666x your bet
When the Wailing Wheel lands on a Multiplier segment, its value is added to the Total Win Bar. If several Multiplier values are collected, they are combined into a single total. When the Multiplier is additive, the new value is added to the existing value.
- Additive Multipliers: Between 2x and 33x your bet
- Multiplying Multipliers: Between x2 and x33
Once all 6 symbols have activated, the final win collected in the Total Win Bar is multiplied by the visible Multipliers before resetting for the next spin.

Pray For Six: Free Spins
Triggering the Unholy Offspring Bonus requires 3 FS Scatters to land in the base game, awarding 10 Free Spins. This bonus maintains the same base game mechanics while increasing the chance of landing ‘6’ symbols. Having 2 or 3 FS Scatters land triggers an additional +2 and +4 Free Spins, respectively.
Cradle of Chaos
Alternatively, the Cradle of Chaos Bonus triggers when 4 FS SCatters appear in the base game, awarding 10 Free Spins.
Again, this bonus retains the same mechanics found in the Unholy Offspring Bonus. At the same time, the Total Win Bar maintains a progressive state, where wins & Multipliers accumulate until the end of the feature. Landing 2 or 3 FS Scatters awards an additional +2 and +4 Free Spins, respectively.

Playtime in Purgatory
The final Bonus, Playtime in Purgatory, is classified as the game’s Hidden Bonus, triggering when 5 FS Scatters land in the same spin, resulting in 10 Free Spins.
This bonus keeps to the same mechanics found in the Unholy Offspring Bonus. At the same time, at least one ‘6’ symbol is guaranteed to land on every spin. When 2 or 3 FS Scatters hit, an additional +2 and +4 Free Spins are awarded.
Featurespins & Bonus Buy
Players may purchase the following Featurespins & Bonus Buy options:
- Bonushunt Featurespins: Each spin is 5 times more likely to trigger a Free Spins mode for 3x your bet per spin
- 666 Featurespins: Each spin guarantees at least one 6 symbol on the reels for 50x your bet
- Unholy Offspring: Awards 10 Free Spins with a higher chance of landing 6 symbols for 100x your bet
- Cradle of Chaos: Awards 10 Free Spins with a progressive Total Win Bar for 300x your bet
Pray For Six has a maximum win potential of 20,000x your bet. If a single session exceeds this, the player returns to the base game with the qualifying amount.

Our Honest Verdict
Pray For Six is a strong addition to Hacksaw Gaming’s growing catalogue of macabre-themed releases, sitting comfortably within the dark, bleak identity that has helped define the studio’s brand. It feels perfectly in step with their grim aesthetic and morbid curiosity, delivering a tone that fans of Hacksaw Gaming will immediately recognise & appreciate.
From a design perspective, it plays like an amalgamation of Pray For Three and SixSixSix, blending the suspenseful wheel mechanics of the former with the brutal, high-stakes volatility of the latter. When everything aligns, it can be genuinely thrilling, especially with a towering 20,000x maximum win hanging over every feature trigger.
That said, it is not without its frustrations. Seeing plenty of ‘6’ symbols on the reels does not always translate into meaningful payouts.
More often than not, feature sequences fall into familiar patterns: a win, then a Wailing Wheel, then a Bronze or small Multiplier, sometimes followed by another Bronze, or even a second wheel that fails to deliver anything of real substance due to a lack of Gold symbols. These stretches can feel predictable and occasionally underwhelming, which can take the edge off what is otherwise a very exciting feature set.
Of course, not every spin can be a winner, and those quieter moments are part of what makes the big hits possible. Still, when a lacklustre wheel lands, it can deflate the momentum, especially in a game built around such dramatic potential.
All in all, Pray For Six is a very solid release. It does not often surprise you, and you can usually sense whether a spin is going to deliver based on what the wheel presents, or fails to present. Even so, it remains a well-crafted, high volatility slot that proudly earns its place in Hacksaw Gaming’s dark and distinctive lineup.
