Base Game & Features
Slurpy is a 5-reel, 5-row Video Slot featuring no fixed pay lines or ways to win. Instead, symbol wins occur when collected by a Slurpie character of matching colour.
Slurpy offers a selection of betting options, with a minimum bet of £.€0.20 per spin, up to a maximum bet size of £.€100 per spin. Situated between these are a number of alternative bet sizes suitable for a range of players.
Unlike most games, Slurpy does not require a minimum number of matching symbols to land in a single spin. Instead, there are several collection groups responsible for triggering wins.
A collection group between 1 and 3 symbols will award a payout of 0.05x your bet, while the biggest collection group (40+ symbols) is worth 200x your bet.
If you’re familiar with ELK Studios’ titles, you will know that they only ever release one RTP version, and Slurpy is no different. The theoretical RTP found here is a below-average of 94%. Other statistics include a High Volatility rating and a max win cap of 5,000x your bet.
Collectors
Slurpy consists of 6 Collectors, each attached to a paying symbol. Wins are created when matching symbols to a collector have a free path to the top of the grid. All winning symbols are removed and replaced with new ones.
If all symbols are cleared from the grid, the grid area expands to 6×6 or 7×7. If you are able to clear all symbols from a 7×7 grid, the Win multiplier, which applies to all wins, is increased by +x5. A new collector symbol is added to the grid when there are no winning symbols with a clear path to the top row.
Second Chance
If all available collectors at the top of the grid do not match with any symbols, yet there’s a collector present that could wipe out all paying symbols, the Second Chance feature is triggered. The collector furthest to the left is removed and replaced with a new collector.

Triggering Super Free Spins requires one of the triggering Scatters to be Super. The Super Free Spins round is played on a fully expanded 7×7 grid with 3 Slurpie Collectors at the top row.

Conclusion
Slurpy is an adrenaline-pumping rush of excitement, with innovative features and mechanics that keep gameplay from going stale. There’s a certain uniqueness to Slurpy, something we’ve come to expect from ELK Studios’ titles, one where wins are only awarded when they are part of the top row.
It’s a bizarre yet fascinating format, rarely, if at all, seen in slots, but one we can certainly get behind. Although straightforward, there’s a minor catch to collecting wins. It doesn’t matter which colour symbol is at the top, so long as the matching collector (Slurpie) is present at the top of the row to slurp them up.
This clears a path for other Slurpie Collectors present to slurp up their matching symbols, causing a wave of significant wins to occur in a single spin. These, combined with Win Multipliers make for some profitable wins, further enhanced by additional feature symbols that may present themselves.
Entering Free Spins requires the collection of 3 Scatter symbols in the base game, although players outside the UK will have access to ELK Studios’ X-iter feature, where you can jump straight into the action for a fee.
In addition, players can purchase the Super Free Spins round, but it comes with a hefty price tag. Alternatively, you can trigger the Super Free Spins round naturally in the base game, catering to players with limited or no access to Bonus Buys.
That being said, you may not find it beneficial to purchase Super Free Spins when the overall max win is set at 5,000x your bet. This figure is significantly lower than most ELK Studios’ titles, yet there’s still something desirable about the concept of Slurpy, which may just be enough to win you over.
