Strike of Poseidon MultiChase Slot Review
Strike of Poseidon MultiChase is one of the rare slots where the base game is the actual game. A multiplier meter that climbs between bonuses means a spin that pays nothing can still count for something, and that single idea changes how every empty reel stop feels. Plenty of slots promise a build. This one keeps the number on screen and lets you watch it grow.
This is All For One Studios taking the sea god to a 6×5 grid of 30 positions, where eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the reels pays. It runs at 96.02% RTP on medium volatility, with a 32% hit rate and stakes from 0.20 to 40. The same shelf holds 11 Coins of Fire, Alchemy Fortunes and Kings of Crystals, none of which make you wait for the payoff quite like this.
Base Game & Features
Wins don’t follow lines here. Eight or more of the same symbol, in any of the 30 positions, is a win. The mechanics work to a short set of rules:
- A win needs 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the reels
- Winning symbols are removed and the reels refill from above
- Only the highest winning combination counts per symbol
- Pay Anywhere payouts are based on the initial bet, not the total
- The total payout is the sum of all Pay Anywhere wins and Scatter wins
The bet itself works on a multiplier: whatever stake you choose, the total bet is that amount multiplied by a bet multiplier of 10, or 12 with Boost running.
Rolling Reels™
Every Pay Anywhere win sets the rolls off. Symbols in the win are removed, the reels refill, and any new combination of eight or more triggers another roll. The chain keeps going until a refill produces nothing, so a single spin can pay several times over.
Scatters sit outside all of this. They aren’t removed by the rolls and they don’t pay until the chain has finished, which makes them a small running suspense during long sequences. They form their own winning combinations too, paying wherever they land, so a chain that ends on a cluster of Scatters still closes with something.
MultiChase™ Multiplier
Multiplier symbols carrying 2x to 100x land on the reels and stay put until the current chain of rolls has finished. While they sit there they may randomly increase in value. What happens to them after that depends on where you are in the game:
- In the base game, every multiplier on the reels is banked and added to the spin’s total win once the rolls conclude
- In free spins, they’re routed into the round’s running meter instead of paying directly
- Either way, they never apply to Scatter wins, which pay at face value
The second of those is the whole point of the game, and it gets a section of its own below.
Boost
Boost is a toggle that costs 20% more per spin and, in exchange, doubles the chance of triggering the feature. The bet multiplier sits at 10 normally and 12 with Boost active. A few edges are worth knowing:
- Payouts don’t change with Boost on, so it’s purely about reach
- It works in the base game only
- It switches itself off when the Bonus Buy screen opens
The return doesn’t move either: spins played with Boost run at the same 96.02% as everything else in the game. What you’re buying is pace, not odds.
Strike of Poseidon MultiChase Free Spins
Free Spins
Four or more Scatters trigger 10 free spins, played automatically at the bet of the triggering spin. The round has its own retrigger rules:
- 3 Scatters during the round add 5 free spins
- 4 or more Scatters add 10 free spins
- Wins during the round are added to base game wins
- Rolling Reels™ runs during the round exactly as it does outside it
Free Spins Multiplier
The multiplier meter next to the reels is the game’s long game, and it behaves differently in each half of the play. In the base game it climbs by 1x whenever 3 Scatters land, up to a maximum of 20x. During free spins, every collected MultiChase symbol lands in that meter instead of paying out directly, and the meter has no limit at all.
There are teeth in the detail, though:
- In free spins, multiplier values are added to the meter only when a Pay Anywhere win is on the reels
- The meter pays out only on spins where at least one multiplier symbol has landed
- It never applies to Scatter payouts
- When the round ends, the meter falls back to 1x, 2x, 3x or 4x
So it’s a build-and-spend system. You accumulate in the base game, you spend it in the bonus, and then you start again, which gives every base game Scatter a job even when the feature isn’t close.
Bonus Buy
Two buy options skip the Scatters entirely and go straight to the round. Both are base game only and both play at the current bet:
- 50x the current bet triggers free spins with a 1x starting multiplier
- 75x the current bet triggers with a randomly chosen starting multiplier of up to 20x
The pricing is unusually flat on return: the buy runs at the same 96.02% as the base game, whether you take the 1x entry or the random one. The 75x option is effectively a wager that a head start on the meter beats 25 extra bets of grinding towards it.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.7/10
Playing this is less like riding a storm and more like being the tide: steady, rhythmic, always moving somewhere. About a third of spins return something, the rolls string wins together, and the meter quietly ticks up in the background. You’d choose it for that meter alone, because it makes the whole session feel like one continuous game rather than a wait between fireworks.
The meter is also the best thing here. Letting it run unlimited through free spins means a good round can genuinely spiral, and the tension of watching it climb is worth the price of admission. But the meter only pays when a multiplier symbol actually lands, and it collapses back to almost nothing the moment the round ends. A long, patient build can come to very little.
For all that, it’s an easy game to like. It suits players who enjoy a slow accumulation and don’t need a jackpot figure to aim at. If you want big instant hits, the sea god will test you; if you like watching something grow, this one’s built for you.
