Super Showball Mystery Link&Win Slot Review
A heart-shaped chrome chamber sits at the centre of this cabinet, sixty pale balls crowding its glass while a brushed-steel return chute glows PRESS PLAY TO START beneath it. It’s a bingo machine dressed as a sci-fi console, and it takes itself more seriously than any 90-ball game needs to. That seriousness is earned: strip the chrome away and this is really two games sharing one ball draw, and the better one only exists at full price.
Neko Games have built Super Showball Mystery Link&Win on four 5×3 tickets and a 30-ball draw, running at 94.58% RTP on high volatility with a 63.51% hit rate. Stakes run from 0.05 to 40.00 a round. It shares its engine with Don Hidalgo Ultra Link&Win, and it plays a very different game with it.
Base Game & Features
Each round deals thirty balls from a pool of ninety, marked off automatically across your enabled tickets. Up to four tickets can be in play, fifteen numbers apiece with no repeats between them, and every ticket can be re-randomised by hand before the draw. Four speed settings, from Slow to Instant Play, change nothing about the results.
Wins are patterns, not lines. Complete a shape on any ticket and the associated prize pays, and a ticket can pay multiple times when entirely new patterns land. When a new pattern grows out of one you’ve already hit, only the more valuable shape pays. Total bet is the per-ticket stake multiplied by the number of tickets enabled.
The Paytable
Pattern prizes scale with your stake, and the ladder is wide. Top to bottom:
- Bingo (full house pattern) – 0.375x per pattern unit, 1,500 credits
- +Bonus 1 – 125x, 500 credits
- +Bonus 2 – 62.5x, 250 credits
- +Bonus 3 – 42.5x, 170 credits
- Double Line – 25x, 100 credits
- The W / The M – 20x, 80 credits
- The Square – 7.5x, 30 credits
- Checker / Zigzag – 3.75x, 15 credits
- Dashes / Cross – 2x, 8 credits
- V-shape / Diagonal / Single Line – 0.75x, 3 credits
The Bonus 1, 2 and 3 patterns are the doors into the side features, which is why they carry the weight they do. Everything else is bread-and-butter bingo shape work. The credit figures above sit at the game’s floor stake, so treat the multiples as the real ladder.
Extra Ball Stage
After the thirtieth ball, the extra ball stage opens whenever an enabled ticket sits one number short of a pattern worth 8x or more. Extra balls cost extra money, up to twelve of them before the round closes itself out. The price of a ball tells you nothing about its chances.
Winnings already banked can fund extra balls when your balance runs short, where the region allows it. Some balls arrive free of charge instead, up to six per round, and each free ball is an addition rather than a replacement for one you’d have bought.
Wild Ball
Wild Balls can appear at random during the extra ball stage, and a wild lets you pick any number on your enabled tickets. Skip the choice and the game takes the candidate that pays the most. Simple, and occasionally decisive.
Bonuses & Jackpots in Super Showball Mystery Link&Win
Four tickets enabled is the price of admission for everything interesting here. Both jackpot systems and the headline feature lock out the moment you disable even one, so the full-card game and the budget game are effectively two different products.
Mystery LINK&WIN
Some extra balls carry hidden diamonds, collected into the Mystery chest at the side of the cabinet. The collection is pure theatre – it has no bearing on when the feature fires. What triggers LINK&WIN is chance, during the extra ball stage, and when it lands the chest appears full.
The feature itself runs on a 3×5 slot grid with three free spins. Six diamonds carrying values between 10x and 45x start on the reels, and every empty position spins independently. Each new diamond or jackpot symbol holds in place and resets the spin counter to three, so a hot run keeps building.
It ends when the spins run dry or the grid fills, and a full grid pays the MEGA jackpot of 5,000x outright. The total prize is the sum of every diamond and jackpot collected along the way.
Koban Jackpots
The Maneki Neko cat hands out kobans at the end of the initial draw or after any extra-ball purchase, and the coins stack in a bar at the top of the screen. Your koban count at the close of the round sets the prize:
- 0-2 kobans – nothing
- 3 kobans – MINI, 60x
- 4 kobans – MINOR, 160x
- 5 kobans – MAJOR, 1,000x
- 6 kobans – MEGA, 5,000x
Offer Bonus
Completing the Bonus 1 pattern opens the Offer Bonus, which works through ten prizes: 130x, 160x, 200x, 240x, 280x, 320x, 370x, 520x, 700x and 1,000x. You’re offered one prize at a time.
Accept and it’s yours; reject and the next offer comes, with the twist that the first prize is off the table for good once refused. Reject the second and the third is final, credited automatically. It’s a compact push-your-luck structure with real decisions in it.
Scratchcard Bonus
Bonus 2 and Bonus 3 patterns both trigger a 3×3 scratchcard. Match three symbols to win, and the pay depends on both the matched symbol and which pattern opened the door:
- Maneki Neko – 100x from Bonus 3, 200x from Bonus 2
- Dollar Sign – 90x from Bonus 3, 170x from Bonus 2
- Triple 7 – 70x from Bonus 3, 140x from Bonus 2
- 7 – 55x from Bonus 3, 110x from Bonus 2
- BAR – 35x from Bonus 3, 75x from Bonus 2
- Cherry – 25x from Bonus 3, 50x from Bonus 2
Miss on a card and a fresh one is dealt until something matches, so the bonus always pays something. A mystery prize can follow at the end.
Buy Feature
A BUY LINK&WIN button sits in the base game, priced at 300.00 in the demo build, and it skips straight to the feature. Wins inside it stack on top of base game wins rather than replacing them.
Buying in drops the return to 86.56%, a long way below the headline 94.58%. That’s a steep premium for impatience, and it’s the one number in this game that argues for letting the extra ball stage do its own work.
The 5,000x MEGA jackpot can arrive through six kobans or a completely full LINK&WIN grid. A lucky ticket stacking patterns and diamonds along the way can still build a serious total alongside it.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.8/10
You come to this one for the tension of a nearly-complete ticket, that held breath between the thirtieth ball and the offer of a thirty-first. The chrome cabinet is the promise and the draw delivers on it: most rounds pay something, and the near-misses sting in exactly the way bingo near-misses should.
The LINK&WIN grid is the best thing here, because every hold buys you three more chances and a good run snowballs instead of tapering. The worst thing is the buy feature – 86.56% is a punishing rate to pay for skipping a queue you’d probably enjoy standing in anyway.
This is one for the bingo player who wants their patterns attached to real jackpots, and for anyone who likes a round with decisions in it rather than a spin button. It’s a poorer fit for players who want a published ceiling to chase. Played on all four tickets, the cabinet earns its chrome.
