The VS Symbol
A VS symbol only expands when doing so puts it into a winning combination. It doesn’t expand on every appearance, which matters, because the mechanic sounds far more frequent on paper than it plays.

Our Honest Verdict
The base game plays it straight for long stretches. Fifteen lines don’t throw much at you and the quiet spells are properly quiet, but a VS landing in the right place lifts an ordinary screen into something worth watching.
Contract Duel was the pick of the three. Raising the VS rate shifts the rhythm of the round rather than just thickening it, and our best moment in a short demo session came from two duelling reels resolving together with their multipliers added up. Struck Oil never built the sticky coverage it needed to turn dangerous.
The Gusher is the one readers will argue about. Its collection stage is the best tension in the game, then three payout spins to cash in everything you spent building. The buy ladder climbs faster than the payoff does.
Worth your time if you like traditional paylines with modern bonus mechanics wrapped round them. Bonus-buy regulars should price the top tier carefully.
Two barons, three bonuses, and the biggest of them still doesn’t quite strike oil.
