Base Game & Features

Five reels, four rows and 20 fixed paylines, with wins running left to right from the first reel and only the highest combination counting on each line. Those are modest numbers. Even the top symbol returns 3.5x for a full line of five, which tells you the paytable is a support act and the coin features are where the money lives.

Cash symbols land on reels 1 to 4 carrying values between 0.2x and 50x the total bet, while Tippy’s Coin symbols land on reels 2 to 4 with values between 0.6x and 50x. Collect and Super Collect symbols appear on reel 5 only, which is what makes the whole thing go.

The two symbol families do different jobs. Cash symbols feed the plain Collect and can randomly wake the Flip Coin through the Lucky Draw; Tippy’s Coins are the only symbols that trigger a Cash Flip of their own. Both are worthless without something landing on reel 5 to collect them.

Tippy’s Collect

When 1 or more Cash and/or Tippy’s Coin symbols land on the same spin as a Collect symbol, the Collect gathers the value of every one of those symbols onto Tippy’s Flip Coin and pays the total immediately. The feature ends as soon as the winnings are collected and paid. It’s available in both the base game and the bonus.

Tippy’s Super Collect

The Super Collect works the same way but doesn’t stop at the total. It loads the combined value onto the Flip Coin as a starting figure, then the coin flips up to 10 times into higher values, each flip an increasing multiple of where it started. The final flip pays out and the feature ends.

The escalation is the whole point. A board with several mid-value coins can end up paying many times what a plain Collect would have handed over for the same spin, because every flip builds on the last rather than replacing it.

Cash Flip

Every Tippy’s Coin that lands alongside a Collect or Super Collect triggers its own Cash Flip. The Flip Coin activates and flips randomly several times, awarding cash prizes as it goes, and the last flip can deliver a 2x to 5x multiplier or a Mini or Minor jackpot prize. The triggering coin collects the total when the flipping stops.

Multiple coins on one triggering spin each run their own sequence, so a spin with three Tippy’s Coins produces three separate flips and three separate totals.

Tippy’s Lucky Bonus

3 Scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 award 10 spins to start. Landing 2 Scatters on a spin during the round adds 2 more; 3 Scatters adds 5. All spins are free, bets and lines match the triggering spin, and the feature spins play out automatically. Playing Tippy’s Gold is a lot of waiting for reel 5. The reels spin, coins land, and everything hangs on whether a Collect turns up to do anything about them. When it does, the game comes alive in a hurry, and that tension between a quiet board and a coin suddenly flipping towards a jackpot is exactly why somebody picks this over a dozen shinier Irish slots.

The strength is the Super Collect, which pays several times what the same board would give a plain Collect purely through how the flips build on each other. The weakness is everything else on the reels: a paytable topping out at 3.5x means line wins never matter, and the 2,000x Mega is locked behind two random gates you can’t work towards.

If you like frequent small collections and the slow build of a coin doing all the work, this is your hillside. Chasers of big ceilings will find it small beer for a leprechaun. The pot at the end is modest, but it’s a pleasant walk.
