Titan S Rising Expanded Edition Slot Review
Lightning crackles down the arm of a white-robed titan at each edge of the screen, storm clouds bank over a crimson sky, and a volcanic glow burns off in the corner. This is Titan S Rising Expanded Edition, Spinomenal‘s ornate Greek-mythology build, all gold baroque flourishes and red banners reading EXPANDED EDITION down both sides.
The wager this game makes is patience: nearly everything interesting about it arrives late and one piece at a time. It runs on a 6×3 grid with 50 fixed paylines and an RTP of 95.54%. The Rising structure will be recognisable to anyone who has played Poseidon S Rising The Golden Era, and the mythology sits in the same territory as Book Of Titans and Titan S Rising The Golden Era.
Symbols and Pays
Wins pay left to right from the leftmost reel, and only the highest combination on each line counts. Wins are multiplied by the bet per line. With six reels in play, every symbol has a six-of-a-kind tier at the top of its range, and the paytable splits into four character symbols and the royal run from A down to 10, with the purple-robed King leading the way.
All values below are multiples of the total bet, quoted for three, four, five and six of a kind in order.
- King figure – 60x, 110x, 1,000x, 1,500x
- Cyclops – 50x, 100x, 800x, 1,000x
- Red warrior – 40x, 90x, 400x, 800x
- Grey wizard – 40x, 80x, 200x, 400x
- A – 30x, 50x, 140x, 200x
- K – 20x, 40x, 120x, 140x
- Q – 20x, 40x, 100x, 120x
- J – 10x, 20x, 80x, 100x
- 10 – 10x, 20x, 60x, 80x
The wild counts as any symbol except the bonus, and six wilds on a winning line pay bet per line x2000 – the single richest line in the game. Bonus symbols can only land on reels 1, 3 and 5 during the base game, and three of them scattered anywhere trigger the free spins.
Stacked Wild Rising
The base game’s one flourish is the stacked wild. It can only land on the third reel, and the moment any part of it appears, the Stacked Wild Rising feature begins.
The game enters re-spin mode and the stacked wild, three symbols tall, climbs one row upward with each spin. Depending on where it first lands, that means anywhere from one to five re-spins before it walks off the top of the reel and the feature stops.
Every re-spin keeps the wild in play on the third reel, sitting across all 50 lines. A wild that lands covering the bottom row has the longest climb ahead of it; one that arrives near the top can be gone in a single re-spin. Six wilds on a winning line still pay bet per line x2000 here, as they do everywhere else in the game.
The Free Spins Journey
Three scattered bonus symbols open the free spins map, which displays four different free spins modes. There’s no choosing: every trigger hands you the next consecutive mode with its own special feature, so your fourth bonus is a different game from your first.
Depending on the mode, the trigger awards either 6 or 10 free spins, and the bet per line stays as it was when the feature began. The scatter only counts during the base game, so a round already in progress can’t be extended by landing more of them. The journey is the whole design – the modes build in wild density as you go, and the last one is the reason to keep triggering.
Winning Symbols Re-spin
The first mode pays through chains. Any new winning combination triggers a re-spin; winners lock in place while non-winning symbols are cleared away and replaced by new ones.
New symbols that complete or extend a line stay put and the re-spins continue until no new wins can form. The game pays only for the last re-spin, so the chain matters less than where it ends.
Shifting Wild
Mode two walks a stacked wild across the reels, starting on reel one. After a losing spin it shifts one reel to the right; after a win it stays put and triggers a re-spin, which can itself be re-triggered. The wild only moves on when the reels stop paying.
Because the wild begins on the leftmost reel and travels right, the early spins of the round carry it where it substitutes for the most paylines. A run of wins pins it in place, and a run of losses walks it off the grid entirely, so the round’s length depends on which way the reels break.
Expanding Wilds
The third mode is the simplest and the most dramatic. Whenever a wild lands, it expands to fill its entire reel, and beyond that expanding stacked wild there are no other wilds in play. Full wild reels across a 50-line game do the rest, and six wilds on a line still pay bet per line x2000.
Extra Wilds
The finale plants a sticky 1×1 wild on the third reel, second row, and it stays there for the rest of the round. While the reels spin, a further two to six wilds can appear on the grid to boost the winning chances. It’s the wildest of the four modes, and the journey saves it for last.
Buy Feature
For players who’d rather not wait for the scatters, a Buy Feature button purchases the free spins round outright. Clicking it opens a window where you can adjust the bet for the round you’re buying, and the buy price scales with that bet.
Confirm, pay, and the round begins immediately. The journey order still applies, so buying doesn’t let you pick a mode any more than landing the scatters does – you get whichever mode is next on the map, and the bet you set in the buy window is the bet the round runs on.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.1/10
The whole appeal is the wait. Reel three gives the base game a reason to keep watching, and the journey gives the bonus a reason to keep triggering – your fourth round is genuinely a different game from your first, and the wild density builds to a finale worth earning.
The problem is the door to it. Scatters only land on three of the six reels, so seeing that finale costs real persistence, and with no volatility figure published there’s no way to price the wait before you commit to it.
This is one for players who enjoy a slow reveal under a storm sky and a bonus that keeps changing shape. Players who want to choose their mode, or judge the maths before sitting down, won’t find either here – and that patience is exactly what the titans are asking for.
