Base Game & Features
Waves of Poseidon is a highly volatile 5-reel Video Slot with an active Scatter Pays mechanic. Wins occur when 9-30 matching symbols land anywhere on the grid, regardless of their positions.
There are 11 paytable symbols available, including Wilds and Scatters. Each high and low-paying symbol is represented by underwater icons and card suits (A-10). Payouts for each symbol fall between 0.25x and 50x your bet.
Furthermore, Wild symbols substitute for all paytable symbols except Scatters and Bonus symbols.
After a winning combination occurs, all winning symbols are removed and replaced with new symbols via an Avalanche Feature. This continues until no new winning combinations are present.
Bonus Symbols
In addition to Scatters, the special Bonus symbol appears on all reels during the base game and Free Spins mode. When a Bonus symbol appears, it will generate a random Multiplier between x2 and x50.
In addition, an additional Multiplier Reel is available on the left side of the grid, containing values between x1 and x20. Please note that in the base game, this reel is displayed as locked.
After each avalanche event, a special Bubble travels up +1 spot on the Multiplier Reel, highlighting the new active multiplier. If the bubble reaches the top, it will remain in position until the end of the spin.
Each time a Bonus symbol hits, it will unlock the Multiplier Reel, which multiplies the current value by its respective multiplier. At the end of a spin, the total win is multiplied by the active multiplier, highlighted on the multiplier reel.
Ante Bet & Bonus Buy
Players outside the UK jurisdiction can access multiple Bonus Buy options from the following:

Our Honest Verdict
Waves of Poseidon is a definite chip off the old block to the inspirational slots franchise, Gates of Olympus, which recreates the Multiplier feature to boost win potential in every spin.
The underwater aesthetic is a nice change of pace from Mt.Olympus, which reveals a picturesque, animated backdrop of Atlantis. Taking a firm stand next to the grid is the God of the Sea himself, brandishing his legendary Trident, and working his magic on the reels.
Unlike the Gates of Olympus series, we’re not reliant on Poseidon to grant Multipliers on the grid. Instead, this task falls to individual Bonus symbols, which are not to be mistaken for Scatters.
During gameplay, the Multiplier Reel is only accessible when a Bonus Symbol lands on the grid. However, during Free Spins, the multiplier reel remains a permanent fixture, but it comes with a certain restriction in that it resets between spins.
Alternatively, in Super Free Spins, this restriction becomes a non-issue; instead, progressing through the available multipliers without resetting between spins. You’ll be pleased to know that Pragmatic Play has granted UK players access to this round, which is available when 6 Scatters land in a single spin.
